Danica pleased with fans reception

Better try and pull them back out from under the bus after what you did a few months ago

If she were as poised and savvy in the pits and in the car as she is in the media room that learning curve would even out drastically.

She needs to lose those huge sunglasses...they make her look like a cartoon.

She has got to be kidding. increasingly comfortable? like in my hemmoroids dont hurt AS MUCH?

and just curious, how long was she in Northern Illinois? About as long as Gordon lived in Pittsboro, IN? She was born in wisconsin and then went to England in her teens I read.

poised and saavy in the media room?? 99% of interviews that ive seen her do, she sounds like shes pretty much clueless....

Oh Good; a Danica story. She will be in a Nationwide race and it's newsworthy. Daytona ran last week and we didn't get much in the way of stories about that.
As far as Danica being poised and savvy in the media, it would be great if she could put a few sentences together without throwing in a few " you knows " You know!!!

About 16 years,.....grew up in Roscoe, IL (7,000)....yes she was born in Beloit, Wisconsin right on the Illnois state line, cause its Hospital was closer then Rockford, IL....but, DO NOT call her a Packer Fan like some dumb media person in Milwaukee did cause she was born in WI!....Bears fan just like Kodiak....I used to go to a road track years ago, Blackhawks Farms Raceway, in Rockton, IL just over the state line 1 mile south, about 5 west of Beloit

LOL........you're right, her communication skill has improved a little. Watched the race from the Glen over the weekend and she didn't show much skill in that either. Started around 22nd and ended up 20th. The only thing she seemed good at was scooting around spin outs and such that happened in front of her, that could be luck, not skill, I don't know. Hopefully she will sell tickets and get some fans to attend the races.

Actually, sunglasses are a normal adult size. she's just a tyke.

Just remember she was racing before she was a teen, she's just a girl-racer that's good looking. The rest of the female racers, not so much

tyke; now that's a word I haven't heard much in the last 30 years. LOL A blast from the past.

All I know is that JP Montoya took five years full time to seriously compete (e.g. make the chase) and he probably won't make it this year (in 21st place). And Montoya is a hell of a driver. Until Danica applies herself to 'stockcars' full time she will not be more than a top 35 driver. They are just too difficult to manage.
I still get a little annoyed when these open wheel jockeys think they can blow in and dominate NASCAR. Remember when Paul Tracy was considering it said that 'they aren't really racecars'? I haven't seen his ass driving in a NASCAR race yet.
NASCAR has pissed me off so much lately I am surprised I'm defending them, but there you are.

i think anyone who thinks she is doing the part time nascar gig to actually compete is fooling themselves..
nascar wants her to do the N-Wide races to sell more tickets, which is sad in itsself..shes is doing the N-Wide races to keep her mug in the headlines, and for the $$..all the tv coverage of the N-Wide races she runs in does is focus on her, which is stoopid.

Danica sign with Andretti for 3 years,....so 2010, 2011, 2012,...full time in NAPCAR will not be till 2013 IF...

And as for Fans.......watch the IRL from Watkins Glen on Sunday....my did it look EMPTY...and I am not just talk the stands,...but the corners too....gave a race and nobody came!
