Any takers for Iverson?

07:27 AM ET 07.07 | Allen Iverson wants to get back in the NBA. He tweeted so. But are there NBA teams who want Iverson? Or did they all see the same games we did last season? Unlike other small guards who prepared for the later years of their careers by developing other skills, Iverson never refined his jump shot or his abilities at the point. When the truth hit last season, he was a shell of what he once was.

He should hope on the first flight for China and join up with Marbury.

Where are all the Iverson apologists this morning?

Well for if and when you finally wake up, I want you to chew on this:

Allen Iverson and Kobe Bryant entered the league the SAME year.

Kobe just won back-to-back titles

Iverson was a shell of himself in his return to Philly (and don't give me that family crap, he quit on the team, once again.)

Note to AI and his fans: Nobody wants you, your career was overrated, you benefitted from Larry Brown and a bunch of role players made a gift run to the Finals. You are one of the worst team players in NBA history. Hollow stats, a ton of flash with absolute zero substance. Your ego got you bounced out of the NBA, now go stay home and work on your jumper in hopes that someone will sign you to a gift contract.

i think that saying that ai's fans are overrated and that nobody wants them is a tad harsh.

AI should retire but then again he might be still better than Mo.....

Dude is done. He looked completely lost 2 seasons ago in the D and took pretty much all of last season off. He has no shot at being relevant in the NBA ever again. I would rather have Nate Robinson right now.

One of the greatest if not THE greatest little man in NBA history...maybe he should go to Miami with DWade and the overrated RuPaul if he wants to play...they won't have much $$$ to pay anyone else and have LOTS of rooms on their roster, so they'll need him. Maybe Shaq can join them too...geez while collecting fossils, get Theo Ratliff, T-Mac and Stackhouse...might as well try to get Reggie Miller, Mailman, Payton & Stockton out of retirement too, and I bet Chuck would come out of the studio for another shot since he is in DWade's 5!!! I digress, hope AI gets another shot somewhere!!!
