08:59 AM ET 07.08 | Broncos rookie quarterback Tim Tebow has yet to throw a pass in an NFL game, but he is already No. 1 in the league in at least one category. The rookie, one of the two first-round picks for the Broncos in this past April's draft, had the league's top-selling jersey between April 1 and June 30. The figures were tabulated only for merchandise sold on the league's website NFLShop.com.

Just catch a tub of water, dip a Tebow jersey in it and BOOM. Instant holy water, just right for protection from vampires, Twilight fans, and other supernatural menaces.

why?

Wasn't this a story like 2 months ago? Way to recycle your headlines, FN. It may have been a somewhat amusing headline then, but now this is just more of the usual Tebow media overkill that people outside of north central Florida don't feel like enduring.

I guess Ryan Leaf should have gone to church.

Uh, because anything with "cross" in it must be good, right?

I like the silly Tebow jokes, but think about it--we have Vick in trouble again, JaMarcus with his purple drank, Favre is still Favre, and a host of guys asking for new contracts when they haven't even played out their original contract. This guy isn't a pro-style quarterback, and I'm not a Broncos or McDaniels fan by any stretch, but I would love to see this guy succeed. He works damn hard, stays out of trouble, and sticks to his morals.

How is DeMarcus Russell's selling? saw one at WalMart......

Actually, you can get a brand new jersey on Ebay for less than $5.00.

JaMarcus sorry about the typo.

Trouble is, he plays for the Broncos.

But yeah, it would be nice to see a guy who doesn't get in trouble and doesn't have an ego the size of Alaska succeed. It's nice to have threads about on-field performance.

do I hear refund $$ to Al Davis?

True, but the same can be said about 1,200 other NFL players. That is the sad part, we focus on the few jerks and forget most of them are pretty good people. Just the way it is in all things.

I will wait to see how many USD it sells for on here, along with those Ed Hardy Bikinis.

Would Al Davis fit in the "other supernatural menaces" category?
