06:46 AM ET 07.09 | In recent weeks, Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant has been making calls to check into deals whether LeBron James re-signed or not. Most centered around Delonte West's contract, which will be valuable in cost-cutting trades. The Cavs have also tested the market for point guard Mo Williams.

After hearing the reaction of the Cavs owner I now believe LeBron make the correct decision. Look the guy was a free agent. He played for the Cavs for 7 years and made them a very good team. All we talk about is players wanting to take the money and run. Here is a guy who is taking less to play with better talent and yes he has a way better chance of winning a ring in Miami.

No matter how he would have done it people would have been mad. Why not try to look at it from a positive standpoint. At least the guy raised money for the Boys/Girls Clubs. Look at the money he generated for Cleveland the last 7 years. Look at how relevant he made Cleveland in the NBA. Reports have it that he tried to bring other players (Bosh) to Cleveland and stay but all we hear now is how hated he is. Come on this is plain over the top. I bet if he would have said he was staying in Cleveland everyone would have loved him right? Well everyone in Cleveland.

I believe Cleveland's reluctance or inability to get rid of Delonte is the main reason Lebron left. The guy bangs Lebron's mother on a regular basis so look at the possibilities if he stays.
1. He could be playing with his step brother.
2. Lebron becomes Delonte's step son and I don't think he'll treat him well.
3. Any mistake Lebron makes on the basketball court Delonte will punish him severely by taking it to his mother in bed.
What shocked me most about Lebron's decision to join Miami is that he discussed it with his mother. Any prudent son will not take advice from a mum that bangs his boys. Now watch Delonte demand a trade to Miami so he can keep tabs on his step son.

As sickening as this whole thing was and no surprise as another egotistical, I'm bigger then life, I have no loyalty, thanks for nothing athlete leaves for what he thinks are greener pastures one thing I do find funny. I think it was Wade who said "We are all going to be taking less money" Wow!Now thats class. I mean how are they going to afford their bills? Lucky they have a good food stamp program in Florida but they will have to compete with all the pan handlers. I hope they can survive. Such brave, thoughtful men. I would pay anything to be at that first game when Lebron comes back to Cleveland to play his first game. I bet there will be a no alchohol sale night that game. Its going to be very very ugly. Sports is great now days isn't it?

i think he ws classless as well an hour for that crap lol...one thing ill say he was damned if he did anything no matter his decision but this one damamges his brand more then anything...it basically says i dont think i can beat you guys so ill come play ball...all the great players no matter their talent were alpha males...the boston trio is a different thing they werent in their prime years with maybe the exception being paul pierce...these guys are in their prime...i did love that Barkley. C Webb, Reggie Miller, Lawrence Frank and Eric Snow layed into on the whole thing for the most part on NBA TV...everyone else seems to appluad this about how much they are giving up...umm yeah sure they will get more endorsements as the big 3 and FL has no state tax i believe sooooo theyre losing alot...the other thing that sucks is we will probably be deprived of seeing wade and james play like they have before going all out...they may not have a need to or hell maybe wont be able to lol

I hope the comparisons to Michael Jordan end now. Lebron choked in free agency in the manner he did against the Celtics. Jordan would never, in his prime, have teamed up with Drexler, Richmond, Miller, nor would he have met with Malone or Barkley to see if they could play together. He wanted to beat those guys and those guys wanted to beat each other because they were true competitors. Furthermore, Bird would never have teamed up with Magic or Dr. J. Jordan was the greatest because he defeated the best: Isiah, Magic, Ewing, Drexler, Barkley, Malone, etc. Lebron is no where near the competitor Jordan is, or that Kobe is for that matter.
I give credit to Amare for having the courage to come to NY by himself amidst all the pressure. I give credit to Wade for staying home and not following anyone. Lebron, on the other hand, punked out and jumped on Wade's bandwagon. Wade already got his championship and Finals MVP without Lebron.
Additionally, how is good for the league to have arguably the two most talented and marketable players in the same city? I've always been a NBA addict, rooting for all 30 teams teams and 450 players, but I have to say I hope the Heat never win.
