How can you be ineligible to play at Minn yet get into ISU, UK and BU?

Something about being proficient with snow-shoes?

I think he would have had to sit out a somester / year at Minnesota because of academic problems where he may be able to join the other schools right away. It reads like he didn't have the grades for Minnesota but his grades are good enough for the other schools, but that's not what the article means.

He wasn't academically ineligible (though it's harder to get into MN than the other schools anyway). He had legal problems including stealing and trespassing and so on. And yes, he will need to sit out a year if/when he picks a new school.

Calipari will fix all that. The kid can do what he wants if he goes to Kentucky. It is the Calipari Mystique...No rule or indescretion keeps his players off the Court. And then he goes to the next town and leaves you on probation. Just fact.
