09:17 AM ET 07.11 | Donnie Walsh would consider Isiah Thomas as a candidate for the Knicks' general manager job, but Walsh quickly added that he has no immediate plans on hiring anyone for the position. Thomas has suddenly reemerged on the Knicks' radar after Garden chairman James Dolan asked the former Knicks president and head coach to speak to one of LeBron James' advisers on Wednesday in Akron, just one day before James announced that he was signing with the Miami Heat.

OMG, Dolan cannot be that stupid. GMs love a loyal owner...but common....Isiah killed the knicks for years. It took Walsh to fix his mess and make the knicks relavant again and we are going to bring this idiot back? WTF

Ha ha ha ha ha! Another over bloated knicks salary/roster on it's way!

Knicks to have cap space in 2030!

I believe k-Mart and his $15 mill per year Denver contract may be available!

You can fool some of the people all of the time, you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can fool the Knick's all of the time.

This is not going to happen. Forget it. I think it'll be Chris Mullin.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! NY cannot seriously be thinking of bringing back Isaiah? While it's true that the FA signings did not go as expected, going back to the "dark ages" would be a terrible mistake.

Yeah, not the headline I wanted to wake up to:(

Sorry, jgb.

Does Isiah have pictures of Dolan with small children or something?

What's the bigger "hit" to their respective franchises on the court. CLE losing LBJ. or NYK getting Isiah back as GM. Tough call.

Isiah is a hit, LeBron is a dead sentence, my guess is the Cav's will be sold and or moved out of Cleveland in the next five years. The Cleveland Cav's are on the ropes.

Summer of 2010
1.) Knicks miss out on LeBron
2.) Isiah returns to the garden

What's next, Reggie Miller comes out of retirement?

fully agree...walsh has the knicks going in the right direction....I would prefer houston or someone that has learned from Donnie than go back to Isiah hell
