Dontavius Jackson, considered one of the premier running backs in the nation, suffered a broken left wrist Friday. Jackson, who had surgery early Saturday morning, is out for the remainder of the season. Jackson, who had projected an October commitment to Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU or Penn State, says his timetable has changed.

Saban says: "He's probably out for one season! One."

The TRUTH was able to obtain phone records from Nick Saban's converstation with Jackson's HS coach......

"Broken wrist? WTF? I don't want no scally-wagged prissy kid that can't keep his bones together. Don't call me anymore.....scholarship gone. You tell that boy he don't deserve to play for me or the great state of Alabama. "

Guess this means that Saban will transfer again, or maybe go to the League...

September 6, 2007  08:32 PM ET

Jackson said that he wasn't too high on Alabama, and Saban broke his wrist.

I am a Miami Dolphin fan and dont believe anything nick saban says hes a lier. He will problably make excuses or something if Alabama does not do great this season. He could not coach in the NFL. Now since RB is gone he problably willnot win many games.

September 6, 2007  11:14 PM ET

all these negative comments must be coming from dolphin fans or lsu fans that are now wishing they had NICK SABEN back coaching for them

September 6, 2007  11:57 PM ET

Dontavius Jackson is a high school football player in GA. Don't think he's gonna to help us win or lose games this year. Now if he commits, maybe next year.

We dont want Nick Saban back he sucked has a NFL coach and could not do crap. And he is a liar You can have him.

September 7, 2007  09:34 AM ET

Legacyy, you sir, are a moron. Congratulations on completely missing the salient points of the article and taking the chance to bash Saban just because you saw his picture somewhere. I'm sure you make other Miami fans proud.

September 7, 2007  12:12 PM ET

I was referring to Modest comments not the article you idiot.

September 7, 2007  12:30 PM ET

damn. now bama's gonna suck this year. hahahhaha
this kid is a high school prospect. a high school prospect injury should NOT be national news. jesus christ. i guess its a little slow. saban is a great coach. maybe he didnt do well in the nfl because he had such a **** team. the dolphins blow. despite the dolphins sucking so bad, he still had a 10 win season. and if nick saban means nothing to you, why would you take time to diss saban on a blog about an injury that happened to a prospect who was thinking about playing for alabama???

I was referring to that comment specifically. It was posted before Modest (or any Tide supporter) even posted. If that's not directly related to the article, then who the hell is it referring to? Also, your next comment quotes buckhunter, not Modest. Where exactly did you respond to Modest?

Sorry dude, try harder next time.

September 7, 2007  11:59 PM ET

really and to add to that saban has all ready tried to bring down expectations without looking like he expects to lose if we win 7 or 8 with what we got he's done good and he took a pay cut to come to bama because winning at bama means more to most than winning at lsu or the fishes down in miami with all the championships and great coachs to be remembered with

Buckhunter: The correct spelling of your coach who is going to take you the National Championship is SABAN. Not much on spelling in T'town are they?

Hey WarEagle5,

You said:

"Buckhunter: The correct spelling of your coach who is going to take you the National Championship is SABAN. Not much on spelling in T'town are they?"

What you really meant to say was:

Buckhunter: The correct spelling of your coach who is going to take your [to] the National Championship is ["Saban."] Not much of spelling in T'town [,] are they?

I guess they're not much about grammar down at the barn, either, are they?
