07:16 AM ET 07.13 | Steering clear of the tangled web he created for himself via Twitter, Chad Ochochinco made himself the star of another drama in New York. First, he boldly stated that the Jets cornerback won't hold out this season -- mostly because he might miss out on a chance to face Ochocinco. The Jets are scheduled to face the Bengals on Thanksgiving Day. "He wouldn't hold out," said Ochocinco, who was held to two catches for 28 yards in the Bengals' playoff loss to the Jets. "Why would you hold out on an opportunity to play against me? That would be dumb." "I'd take a pay cut to play against me."

Secretly, I think Chad is praying, hoping that Revis holds out so long that he gets traded to an NFC team.

Chad might have a point. For Revis, covering this wanna-be is practically a day off with pay.

Whatever... It's a slow news day this morning.

Nice ego.

It is nice to know that one day he will be a distant memory, just like the other whiner TO.

Less than two weeks to Training Camp, Chief. Gonna spend a day in San Antonio watching my heroes in August.

$10 to park and enter and great Tex-Mex down the river - life is good!

July 13, 2010  08:10 AM ET

If Chad predicted it it must be true.

July 13, 2010  08:11 AM ET

sometimes I feel like - is it just me who can't stand this guy???.... I just love the game... I even love some of the 'charcters' that play the game... but Chad is just way way way too over the top for me... I really resent the attention that he gets... especially when he is just a very good receiver - and there are many more that are better than him...

I wish the NFL would shut this guy up... and not allow the media to promote this guy... why in the world would the NFL want to be represented so much by this guy...

Drew Brees is the kind of player you want representing the league and getting the headlines...

July 13, 2010  08:16 AM ET

the guy is annoying!!!

You having a good time up there Chaser?

July 13, 2010  08:18 AM ET

why did so many people think that when he pulled that stunt of putting on that 'future hall of famer' jacket was funny?.... I thought that was one of the stupidest things I've ever seen.... Just play the game... if I want comedy, I will watch something else....

spontaneous acts are much more likely to get a laugh...

July 13, 2010  08:49 AM ET

So Chad when are you going to change your name to Revis' play thing?

July 13, 2010  08:54 AM ET

85 still plays?
