Quinn a true threat to start?

07:19 AM ET 07.13 | The Broncos have opened their arms to "second chance" players across their roster, and there may be no more visible example than Brady Quinn. [Josh] McDaniels traded for the former first-round pick in March, before selecting Tim Tebow in the draft, because he believed Quinn could compete for the starting job despite his struggles in Cleveland. ... "As a player you always hope to get an honest look in a situation where you can be your best," Quinn said. "I think I'm a lot better player now than when I came into the league and that I can play more than I did (in Cleveland) and be more productive. So that's about finding a spot and then taking advantage of your opportunities."

Good attitude, kid.

He has better coaching and support in players.

Wish him well... but do the Broncos have any WR's?

July 13, 2010  07:59 AM ET

If I were a Bronco fan, I'd be threatened by the thought of Quinn starting.

Eddie Royal is pretty decent. Brandon Stokley is there, but he is a shadow of the former player in Indy.

They do have guys with numbers in the 80s on the roster. Whether they can run patterns, get open and catch passes, we don't know yet. Some people remain skeptical.

Morning, Stranger. I think Quinn has more in Denver than he did in Cleveland. And, everyone has more than Cutler has in Chicago.

Y'know what this says to me? It says that Josh McDaniels doesn't have any confidence in any of his quarterbacks.

Well, at least I can agree with Josh on that point.

Tim Tebow?

Maybe a better coach will help him develop or show him as a fraud.

As a Bronco fan, I shudder at the thought. While Orton isn't the best QB, but I'd rather see him start than Quinn.

I honestly think that if Quinn gets teh chance to play, he coudl surprise alot of people

The Browns already exposed him as a fraud, that's why he's in Denver.

'Morning Stu. I agree with you on the Cutler/Chicago line. Martz will rue the day he took a job there as an OC.

Mangina couldn't expose anyone, except perhaps himself.

Yeah, pretty ugly image, huh? I hope nobody had eggs in their mouth when they read this. Tough on the old keyboard.

Sometimes a player is a product of their environment. I believe that to have been the case in Cleveland.

I just threw up in my mouth. Thanks for the morning wake up.

Quinn will do well in Denver, give the boy a shot...strong arm, strong legs and good vision, he got screwed in Cleveland...and Tebow isn't ready for the beatdown of the big league yet.
