Spurrier to start suspended QB
Posted: Friday September 07, 2007 02:03AM ET
To no one's surprise, Steve Spurrier said South Carolina quarterback Blake Mitchell would start against the Bulldogs in his return from a one-game suspension for class absences. Spurrier indicated all week that Mitchell would start, but joked that he wanted to give Georgia more to prepare for by not announcing it sooner. With last week's starter, Chris Smelley, out with a shoulder injury, Tommy Beecher will be Mitchell's backup and redshirt Stephen Garcia will be the No. 3 quarterback.

I was highly impressed with Mitchell's performance last year. But the truth is Mitchell won't be deciding factor in this game. C'mon Georgia will whoop the snot out of USC then kisck thier ****for having a runny nose.

Report Offensive CommentGood to see that Spurrier learned from Weis' mistakes in trying to fool the opposition with a QB choice.
Dawgs will not cover the spread, do they ever against USC? It will be a higher scoring game though. The dawgs will perservere in the end.

Report Offensive CommentAfter in-depth research..the TRUTH has discovered that in GARC 100.3.321(a) there is a little known ordinance that forbids Bullgogs and YellowJackets from congregating in the some square mile. Hence, all of your arguments are futile................now, who's on the tab for the TRUTH's billable hours?
