T.O. to Pats: I'll take less money

07:31 AM ET 07.15 | T.O. upped the ante by lowering his fee, at lease for the right opportunity. Owens told WJMN radio Wednesday that he'd "definitely be open" to joining the Patriots. The Patriots haven't said anything or hinted at all about signing the controversial wide-out, but he could be a viable option especially with Wes Welker's uncertain return timetable following knee surgery. Here's the best part: T.O. is willing to catch passes in Foxboro at a discounted rate, proving he's willing to take less money in order to have a chance to win -- kind of like that LeBron James fellow. "I'm like LeBron," he said. "I can go there and take less of a role, take less money and put everything aside and make it work."

I see. By comparison, you can hire a high class lady who arrives in a limo or you can drive around and get one off the street corner.
TO seems to be leaning against the lamp post now.

TO could not do Welker's job. I'd rather have half a Welker than 2 TOs.

Tough job market eh T.O.? Has he started begging yet? Or do we wait until he says that the Lions would be a good first?

I don't believe the Mara family would allow that to happen.

"I'm like LeBron," he said. "I can go there and take less of a role, take less money and put everything aside and make it work."
So ... by "less of a role" does that mean that he'll do a partial implosion for the team? Maybe he should just offer to pay a team to play.

What a ridiculous comment by T.O. At least Lebron can score points. T.O. needs to leave the building - PERMANENTLY!

Great grammar, FN. "At lease" your punctuation is correct.

I don't either. There are certain organizations that have little tolerance for TO's crap - the Mara's are one.
