09:05 AM ET 07.15 | Another super soph? Look out for sophomores in the Heisman race. Each of the past three Heisman recipients was a sophomore. Some of those who would seem to have the best chance to extend that streak to four are Virginia Tech running back Ryan Williams, Pittsburgh running back Dion Lewis, Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck and Oregon running back LaMichael James.

None of the soph's mentioned here are going to win the Heisman this year. Forget it.

50 days....

Sophomore is the new Senior.

Must be all those hormones in the milk.

I'd give Ryan Williams the best chance of the above-mentioned sophomore "candidates", but that could just be because the beatdown he put on my Vols in the Peach Bowl*** is fresh in my mind.

***No, I will not call it by that other name.

Thanks for the update. You might as well say 100... Kinda like a heat index, it is 95 but feels like 105...ugh....

Good analogy. The opening kickoff index is 37 years (give or take).

Now on that note...can someone PLEASE explain Jake Locker to me. He has done absolutely nothing to deserve Heisman hype, not even gaudy numbers.

He has had a couple of really good games when in the national spotlight.
That's all Woodson needed.

Woodson. Woodson. Woodson.

I was just wondering if it worked like Beetlejuice to bring tSUN posters to the threads...

Yeah, I'm totally sick of the year-in-year-out love fest the media has had with Stanford over the past 30 years.

'My Word' style, I'll give that bit of sarcasm 2 points.

You still holding a grudge about Woodson my friend :)

It's really more a grudge against Keith Jackson. It's in the standard Vol Fan's contract to mention it occasionally.

All in all, I like KJ. I miss KJ. KJisms are legendary. And I'm never going to surrender my orange & white checkerboard membership card... contract, schmontract.
