Is Paul's future in Charlotte?

09:53 AM ET 07.18 | Chris Paul as a Charlotte Bobcat isn't crazy. I'm told it's a twinkle in the eyes of this team's decision-makers. There are a handful of places Paul would want to relocate in a trade, and Charlotte - near his suburban Winston-Salem home and possessing a Hall-of-Fame coach - should be among the viable candidates.

If its not crazy it sure is ludicrous.

keep hoping Charlotte

Yeah right, a Hall-of-Coach who switches his zipcode sooner than a stripper's thong is an attraction for Paul to relocate to Charlotte!!!!

Come to LA, Bro.

CP3 will be a good pick up for many teams...New Orleans need to make some moves but lucky for them they have him tied up for 2 more years......if they want to keep him they better start making some moves

Pipe dream ;) story talks about Bobcats trading.....Damp, and Wallace to NOH for CP3....I guessing it would need to be Damp $13m, Wallace $9, Nazr $6.9, for CP3 $14.9m, Okafor $11.5m big contact back, maybe throw in Posey contact

He wont be in NO much longer....

I think its very likely. He lives there, Hornets are not going anywhere, and he has Jordan Brand as his shoe company who also happens to own the Bobcats.

He's from the charlotte area he probally wants to play in his home town, the bobcats would be much better with CP3 in the line up..

I think New Orleans made a big mistake in signing Stojakvic for all that money. What did they give him, about $70 million. The guy hasn't been able to play a full season. Last year he averaged 12 points a game. That averages out to over a million dollars per point. I thought it was a mistake when they signed him and now it's even more obvious.
