Edwards chides Keselowski

Cousin Karl needs to keep his fat trap shut. he was not the aggressor, THIS TIME. He needs to remember we have all the previous episodes on tape.

Not an Edwards fan but I agree with what he did and said last night. Keselowski knows that bad blood exists between them, he has to use his head not his throttle leg. I had to chuckle at senior Kes, talk about drama, like Edwards wanted to kill the kid. Senior Keselowski and senior Logano are both a bit dramatic.

T&R must have a new employee, this article is still fresh and timely.

They both tapped each other, and, it could have gone either way on both taps. Carl had to return the favor or he would have looked real bad. I didn't like the sight of the broadslam but Kes came out O.K. maybe a little wiser, if you're gonna move 'em don't sissy tap.

Sounds like the voice of experience talking with Edwards. He's was in Kes's position more than once and I think he might have finally learned is lesson. Good "let em race" finish.

They should keep the father's on a very short leash because they are always going to react the way Logano and Kes did. Heck, if my kid just got knocked into the wall I'd be all over the guy who did it. Its only natural.

I guess Carl forgot he wrecked Clint Bowyer more then Clint wrecked his self! How quick they forget!

The thing is, with this kind of feud, you have to clearly show that you won't take no krap from anyone.....if you don't show that, you will always be bumped and pushed......one way of looking at it, is that Brad bumped Carl and he "handled" his car well, so nothing happened to Carl....but when Carl bumped Brad, he lost control.
If you look back on any racing "taps", one thing is for sure, you never know how they will end up....
Regardless of your opinion on this, it was a darn good race in the last 30 laps.

Agreed. I was whooping at how Brad lost it, until he got slammed broadside. As much as I was 'Wah, wahing' his daddy, I was glad no one got hurt. Like the dude said he was hoping they'd crash out and he'd get the win. That's racing, old style.

Brad's father will be banned form the track for the next few races. That's my prediction. And rightly so.

highly doubtful.. if im not mistaken he was headed to the infield care center to check on his son, not pulling the little league crap tom logano was doing over the wall etc.. its not his fault the tv people caught up to him to interview him

there is no one that can support brad k on this one.. he bumped carla in turn 1 on the last lap... that is a big no-no especially since it was carla (prior history, obviously) and he saved it.. brad k paid the price for his idiotic move.

My take on the whole thing is -- The guy got his ass washed and hung out to dry.
Keselowski deserved what he got. Previous to that, the shoe was on the other foot, he hit Edwards in the rear qtr. panel in hopes of nudging him out of his way so he could blast off to the win. But Edwards has more experience in handling a race car in that situation and was able to save it.
Keselowski NASCAR Lesson #11: "Turn about is fair play."
But I fully expect NASCAR to reprimand Edwards in some way, because of the hit Keselowski took due to the spinout. That was pretty wicked. Other than that, it probably would not matter.

It was the 'I'll take care of it myself' part that I think will hurt him, svt. NASCAR may want to make an example of him for the other parents out there at the track.
And isn't it funny that a few years ago, a wife (Kenseth's I think), had a shouting match with Harvick's wife after their hubbys had an incident on the track. The drivers have gotten so young, now it's the parents of the drivers that raise hell, not the spouses. Who would have thunk it?

i think that was just frustration and concern on keselowski's dads part.. i definitely wouldnt be happy watching my kid fly in to the catch fence upside down (atl) & also the HARD hit he took at the end yesterday.. i got a laugh out of the "ill put on my driver suit and take care of it" comment

NASCAR had their chance to make an example out of little league parents, but dropped the ball in a major way (re: tom logano x2)..

i remember the wives shouting at each other (cant remember which 2 it was), that was hilarious also.. lol

i honestly dont think any of this nonsense would be happening if dale sr was still around, he would set these kids straight imo

THE fact is Brad was beating Carl all night Carl did the only thing he colud do and wreck him it was the most disgusting racing I have seen in a long time and im not even a fan of Brad but what carl did I hope every driver takes him out now if thats how he wants to race they will wreck him now

Carl Edwards is a punk!!!!! The only reason Nascar stated it was just good hard racing is because "Thug Carl" is already on probation. So if they had to take action against him he would have to sit out a race or two. But there is a thing called "Sponsor" and they would be upset with Carl sitting out. What the sponsor need to learn from this is not to sponsor a loser like Carl. Maybe the next time Carl kills someone with his lack of abilities and then who is to blame?
