08:46 AM ET 07.21 | Jarod Palmer recently broke out a shootout trick shot, predicated upon a whiffed slap shot, and that whiff came under some discussion as to whether it was on purpose. "That move was 100% planned," he confirmed. "I made that move up a long time ago." Palmer ... said he's pulled off the move once or twice in college -- in practice of course. "I didn't do it too often, because you're only going to pull it off once." But he's worked on it so much, that he's gotten pretty consistent with it."

But can he skate and score with others on the ice at the same time?

It was a nice goal. As you can see it didn't fake the goalie out that much, but it still went in. Oh and Golden Bay, here are is stats.18 27 45 in 44 games. Stats don't mean everything though.

Does anyone have a link for this goal?

Jarod Palmer? Who in blazes is Jarod Palmer. Isn't he the guy who retired from the PGA tour a couple of decades ago?

No that's a different guy. I know Rosy Palmer had five daughters, maybe this is the one son.

It's all fine and dandy until during a shootout a ref decides to blow the whistle as that was your shot.

santa...who cares, its a preliminary summer camp...it means more or less nothing and I HIGHLY doubt that the Wild are going to judge their cuts (one way or another) based on a shootout trick move...

What!? You mean they don't keep shootout specialists on the bench? No room for no-way players? ;-)

Did anyone even see the goal?

True, he didn't. Good fake to score afterwards though.

We'll get right on that and what a good idea. Nobody here is smart enough to have thought of that. You just wait by your computer and we'll e-mail when we've got something for you.
