07:23 AM ET 07.23 | Among a handful of entertaining lines, David Khan sent a shoutout to Chris Webber during a Thursday radio appearance. "He's kind of a schmuck, isn't he? Methinks that he spent a lot of time on NBA TV with a former Timberwolves person and he seemed to come into the interview with an agenda. Tough questions are fine, but I felt like he was a little defensive about some of the things."

i'm starting to like this Khan guy, not as a gm he's been terrible at that, but he seems willing to do and say whatever he wants so i think he's a good character for the nba....even if it means trying to assemble an all pg team

This is the same guy who drafted two point guards in the top-ten last draft. (When Stephen Curry was available) That officially makes him a schmuck as well

I agree is sounds like a suspicious draft, but you can't really judge draft picks for at least a year or two.

someone riddle me this> what exactly has this guy accomplished other than accumulating 16 PG's on his roster that gives him any room to bash on Webber? hey Dave...how about winning 30 games in a season before running your mouth.

Remember that one of the point guards he drafted was Ricky Rubio and he's not even on the team....he's playing in Spain

agreed, but if Rubio comes in a year or two and plays for the T-Wolves then its not as dumb as it seems now.

I think you can. Curry is the real deal. How you take Rubio (a Project) and Flynn (can't shoot or defend) before Curry will never make sense. Curry is going to be an all - star.

Got to Love this quote from Kahn in the story ;) Michael Beasley smoked too much pot in Miami, but he's a changed man now. Make that, changed young man.
"He's a very young and immature kid who smoked too much marijuana and has told me that he's not smoking anymore," Kahn said, "and I told him that I would trust him as long as that was the case."
Whatever....calling a player a pot smoker....True or Not, sounds real mature Kahn

I saw the interview on NBA TV C-Webb got was kind of taken back when Kahn compared Darko to him. I thought the questions Webber asked were all right considering Kahns peronnel decisions. You draft two point guards one of which you don't know when he'll come to the states and play and another who doesn't look like anything special. Then you sign Milic to a four year deal and make the move for Beasley who even if you go back to his draft year there were warning signs and various rumors that Miami really didn't want him despite what Pat Riley always said. I never knew one of the worst general managers in basketball felt entitled to be so condesending.

What about Beasley? Suspended by NBA before his first training camp, makes it obvious that smoked too much marijuana with his first team, now promising he's not smoking anymore. What is scary is he is also a major underachiever. Smoking marijuana is one thing, having it having an impact on your career is another.
