Well, it would be obvious that they have to give away Felton and maybe Andy Rautins or Azubuike

I would like the knicks to find a way to keep galo, and trade chandler, curry's expiring contract along w/who ever else N.O wants. But to get this deal done I am sure new orleans will want galo and if that is the stopper..than the knicks have to do it. But galo's game will match up nice w/amare. if amare gets doubled...galo will kill U outside

knicks cannot trade felton until december. if the knicks make a trade and there is a player to be named later...than U know felton was part of it. Felton's contract is not bad...only 2 years and he is not a bad PG at all.
felton (2 be named later), chandler, randolf and curry's expiring contract. I would love if they can do that but I am sure N.O will want galo instead of chandler.

I feel NO would try their best to strike a hard bargain and get Gortat out of the trade. He's got size, offensive skills, defensive skills, smart on the fouls...a top 10 center in the league. I wonder if the Magic would part with him if it came down to that.

Does anyone else see that we are watching the begining of the end of the NBA as a business. Star players under contract are conspiring to upset the balance of power and the compettive balance that keeps million of fans interested. If this continues there will be only 6-8 teams over the next GENERATION who will draw interest and the rest of the league will wither and die. I am a celtics fan and Danny traded for our big three he out played other gms to make that team. He didn't have the strongest players on the planet just phoneing it in for their last season with old team.

Ian Thomsen's latest piece talks about this.
He puts it well -
People will complain that this difference will be the death of the NBA, but, of course, that isn't true. How many times have we heard similar complaints over the years about the changing business of pro sports? It used to be said that free agency was going to be the death of sports. Wrong. Then player strikes and owner lockouts were going to kill sports. Wrong again. The high price of tickets, the proliferation of games on pay-subscription TV channels, the best players skipping college or leaving early, performance-enhancing drugs, the sponsorships and naming rights for everything -- all of these incremental changes have been followed by larger audiences and more money for pro football, baseball and basketball.

GMAN, you really believe in Galo I wish I can say the same but if you have an opportunity to get a allstar you just have to do it.
