08:58 AM ET 07.25 | Coaches have varying degrees of familiarity and comfort with social-media vehicles like Facebook and Twitter. Arkansas' Bobby Petrino is among the not-so-familiar. He referred to someone's "Facemask page."

These damn whipper-snappers and their computer and internal nets!

He is a mad scientist. Who cares? The name of the game is winning, let's see how he does this year.

July 25, 2010  10:45 AM ET

I guess that's at least one coach who isn't breaking recruiting rules via facebook.

July 25, 2010  10:49 AM ET

I thought Facebook was for middle aged widows or something............apparently there are around 500 million of them out there.

After what he did to Louisville and then Atlanta, I was thinking of a harsher term.

You guys need to move on. He left Louisville for a NFL job. How has Louisville done since?

He took a pay cut to get out of the situation in Atlanta. Remember, his franchise QB was just sent to prison. Let's move on.

This guy is a quitter and likely will go to the highest bidder just like Saban.

He cut and run... and is gutless.

Sorry - can't move on from the facts.

My guess is he is deeply hurt that you think that.

What exactly did he "cut and run" from? The same Falcon management that "cut and run" on Dan Reeves before the season ended? What's the difference? He took a pay cut to get out of that mess. He is better off without them and they are better off without him. He belongs in college, just like Saban, Spurrier and others. Please move on, that was 3 years ago.

A+ FUNNY!!!!!!

July 26, 2010  01:33 PM ET

This will be the year that shows just how good a coach he is. Heck i'd even put that on my facemask page.

July 26, 2010  02:13 PM ET

For all we know, he was attempting to be funny...

True, and considering it is the AJC reporting you just never know what to believe.
