T.O. not a fit in St. Louis?

07:22 AM ET 07.26 | One concern about the Rams signing Terrell Owens is that he might turn his "notorious T.O. ego" on Sam Bradford. Steve Spagnuolo and Rams offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur were members of the Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff in 2005 when Owens destabilized quarterback Donovan McNabb and largely succeeded in his efforts to blow up the team. The '05 Eagles finished 6-10, their first losing season since 1999. ... Is this how you develop a rookie quarterback: bring in a fading wide receiver to tear the kid up before he has a chance to take root in the NFL. Yes, Owens would be a target for Bradford's passes. But Bradford would be a target for the notorious T.O. ego. That's not a smart tradeoff.

I believe the author of this article is a guy by the name of Captain Obvious!

And besides, can we really trust anyone who wears a bowtie and takes himself seriously?

As long as no one else takes him seriously. TO is a legend in his own mind.

'Morning Stu.

They listed Cincinnati as his other option. Do you think the Bengals could survive Ocho and T.O. on the same team? I don't.

Burning Bridges=Terrell Owens, I believe he would be a fit for Washington, but im sure his past has ALOT to do w/ Shanahan not wanting him

Hello!

Maybe it's like math. You multiply two negatives and they become a positive?

damn who did this man kill, or rape to get treated like that .. I guess having a big mouth is worse than trying to rape a 20 yr old in a bar...

Duhhhh-you said it-that mouth got his dumb arse in trouble! the mouth and tongue will get you hung!!

OK, he played for Buffalo last year, but look at his numbers. Besides the big mouth, this guy is over the hill. His performance isn't worth a roster slot on most teams.

WORD, DD!!

I see he is wearing a purple bow tie. Maybe that is some kind of apology to the Ravens and he really means "Baby, I was wrong, please give me another chance".

I guess we can look forward to "TO not a fit in ______?" articles for the next 31 days. Yay.

Actually, they're going to space them out for an article every two days. It gives them a little filler on slow days.

No doubt TO is in great shape and could play in a lot of places. He has always been a heck of an athlete. However Karma is a muther....He shot his mouth of his entire career and now it has caught up to him. It's costing him millions of dollars and you know no one is laughing harder than McNabb. Who incidentally has a job this year.

While it's not right, hitting 20 yr olds in bars can be forgiven in the locker room. Destroying yet another starting QB can not.

July 26, 2010  09:31 AM ET

Get your popcorn ready St. Louis fans, prepare to see lots of dropped passes but it will be because the QB didn't have the right touch on the ball.

also , i'd like to announce Brett Favre will play this year, he called me last night and told me he had made his decision, he is coming back!!!!

July 26, 2010  09:41 AM ET

I don't know why TO isn't a NY Jet by now. He and Braylon could set a season record for dropped passes that no team could ever hope to match. And think of the ratings on Hard Knocks.

Exactly. I cant even believe whats going thru the Rams front offices heads. Giving Bradford the biggest contract in NFL history then signing this dope WR to wreck the team?

Those would be just as entertaining as articles about Drew Rosenhaus trying to Jedi mind-trick everyone into believing that "many teams" are interested in signing his prized malcontent.
