08:11 AM ET 07.26 | Sergio Kindle is reportedly in stable condition after falling down two flights of stairs in Austin, Texas. The unsigned former Longhorns star won't be reporting this week for training camp as he recovers from his injury. ... Kindle's father, Johnny Walker, told National Football Post in a telephone interview: "Sergio feels like he has had bad luck all his life." Meanwhile, Kindle's contract isn't expected to be signed until at least a few more days. No deal is imminent.

I hope this guy recovers quickly and gets back out on the field. And, I hope he puts his hand on the stair rail from now on. Damn, two flights?! That had to hurt.

July 26, 2010  10:59 AM ET

That makes me wince just to read the story. I hope he recovers quickly and totally.

July 26, 2010  11:09 AM ET

Hope Sergio recovers 100% and has LEARNED a lesson.

Take the elevator next time.

This guy is making me nervous and training camp hasn't even started yet (well, it would have today for him but oh well...)

No wonder he fell down the stairs - when your daddy is Johnny Walker, how can you NOT have balance issues.

"Damn, two flight?! That had to hurt." - I love it...
Too funny....

probably hard to stop the momentum that dude created on the way down...

What is the percentage of people posting that drink, probably pretty high. Do you even know exactly where he was or have any pictures of the scene. Two flights of steps could be a small landing separating just a normal set of steps between floors. Everyone wants to jump to the worst case scenario just so they can say "I told you so". A couple years ago my wife's aunt fell down her basement steps and cracked her skull open and died. All they could figure was she had a stroke or a heart attack while standing near the steps. If she was standing in the middle of the room she would probably be alive today. Accidents happen.

I was thinking the same thing - horrible, but funny!

I was going to say something almost exactly like this and I was really nobody had beat me to the punch. Touche. But I know how it goes. I have an Uncle Patron...I had too much of that Friday and then proceeded to fall on my face. Similar....waiiit.

July 26, 2010  01:44 PM ET

Doesn't look good, Sergio. Blockers move, stairs don't. If you can't handle the latter....

Perhaps they got that Quote from Johnnie down at Old Grand Dad's farm while he was Hunting Wild Turkey with Sergio's uncles Jack Daniels & Evan Williams...

Did Sergio have any outstanding Debts to his Bookie?

Heal Fast Sergio...

Have they reported what kind of injuries he has? All I've heard is that he fell, but no mention of concussion, sprain, bumps & bruises..... nada.

Any truth to the rumor that they are going to add the "two flights fall" time at the NFL combine next year?

Shadows"What is the percentage of people posting that drink, probably pretty high. Do you even know exactly where he was or have any pictures of the scene."What's there to know?Should people suddenly research facts on this Ravens guy while you run around shooting your mouth off about Steelers players in spite of those same facts?"Two flights of steps could be a small landing separating just a normal set of steps between floors. Everyone wants to jump to the worst case scenario just so they can say "I told you so".You mean like YOU do on a consistent basis with other teams?"A couple years ago my wife's aunt fell down her basement steps and cracked her skull open and died. All they could figure was she had a stroke or a heart attack while standing near the steps. If she was standing in the middle of the room she would probably be alive today. "I could swear that you fell and hit your head too ..."Accidents happen."We know! And your poor parents luckily decided to keep you, so you could enrich all our lives on here!I'm not gonna suggest it was purple drank ...I'll take something out of your own personal playbook instead. Hey ... maybe ... it was steroids?Get the picture ... or are you still unfixably stupid?

You have to be the biggest butthead on the internet. A guy is seriously hurt in an accident and you want to compare it to the admitted use of steroids by the Steelers because they couldn't compete with other teams on skill alone. I would hate to see the crack you crawled out of.
