Redskins seek creative solutions for Haynesworth

07:42 AM ET 07.28 | While not a match made in heaven, the combination of Jim Haslett and Albert Haynesworth could work -- with creative adjustments. There is optimism in the complex that veteran nose tackle Maake Kemoeatu, who sat out the 2009 season because of an Achilles' injury, will be recovered to start the season. In a positive sign, the Redskins recently sent Ray Wright, the new strength and conditioning coach, to Hawaii to help Kemoeatu continue preparing to resume his career. If Kemoeatu is at full strength to start the season, Haynesworth probably would start at end and shift to the nose on third down and in other obvious passing situations.

It's going to be real interesting this season to see how the Redskins plan to put lipstick on this pig...

I'm curious to see what Haynesworth would do at the end position...he's a power guy, and I think of the end position as more speed.

Just remember Albert you could have left that check on the table. Work with the team. The team also needs to work with him.

If they try to put him at NT on third down he'll just take himself out like he does every other time he doesn't feel like playing. Keep him at DE where you can at least get SOME production out of the fat diva.

I'm still surprised by reading these stories. Albert recently gets one big fat check and doesn't even want to do what his coach tells him. Astounding.

The creative solution would be to sue his fat arse for breach of contract and collect the dough..

He hasn't breached his contract just yet...it's just a breach of character right now. If he comes in and the team has success with him being a big contributor, things will mellow out....Success heals all of these wounds....Also, the ends in a 3-4 scheme are a little bigger so he could perhaps have success in that position. You have to get your fat **** in first to see!! you don't know until you try it....

How about an amedment to his contract that says no play no pay. These pro athletes have become such primadonas I'm tired of them. You pay me that kind of money I'm going to do anything you ask. Well, not anything...

This guy continues to blow my mind every, single time I read a post about him. He's getting pad a astronomically, ridiculously, insanely, retardedly high amount of money, yet he doesn't want to do what the coaches and team need him to do. A**hole.
