07:18 AM ET 07.29 | LeBron will hear worse, but Chris Bosh earned an earful Wednesday while at the New York Stock Exchange to ring the opening bell. Bosh, 26, who signed a six-year, $110 million deal with the Heat, rang the bell to promote his work with After-School All-Stars, which provides after-school activities to children across the US. ... But as Bosh toured the floor, one trader heckled him, "It would have been a madhouse in here had you signed with the Knicks." Another said, "Come back in 2016." Even a security guard got into the act, telling him: "Forget Miami, New York is where it's at." Bosh, who's finishing a week's visit here that included a trip to the Hamptons, told us, "About 600 people have told me I should have signed with the Knicks."

Lmao, what a great story. Get used to it RuPaul.

July 29, 2010  07:43 AM ET

that was some tame "heckling", especially by ny standards.

July 29, 2010  07:46 AM ET

Better him ringing the bell instead of that group of reality show clowns that rang the bell Tuesday!

July 29, 2010  08:00 AM ET

Otis - you are so right. I hope they hosed down the NYSE after that group came through the other day. But Bosh and his buddies better get used to this treatment. Except for the people in Miami most want to see The Three Stooges go down in flames.

July 29, 2010  08:04 AM ET

The people that were heckling him were the same fans that still think that if New York has money and cap space, players will come and play in New York. Even if the team hasn't done anything for the last decade. And a team that has no chace of winning in the near future.

July 29, 2010  08:05 AM ET

Bosh must be thinking to himself how happy he is not to sign with NY and having to hear those crazy people every day lol. They just confirmed he made the right choice.

Why all the Knick hate? Okay, he made the decision, and now he'll have the chance to regret it or not. Bosh had the opportunity to be beloved in NY, or just liked in Miami. It is alot of pressure playing for a franchise trying to turn the corner, and I guess he did not want the challenge.

No he didn't. That's why he's out of TO.

Bosh lucked out...he will get the same money as Lebron and Dwayne for riding their coat tails...he ain't in their league!!!!

July 29, 2010  09:41 AM ET

Someone will ring your bell, Bro.

July 29, 2010  09:43 AM ET

The fan that wore Lebron Heat jersey to an Indians baseball game got it worse then Bosh. Can u imagine if the real #6 appeared?

July 29, 2010  09:46 AM ET

Bosh is over rated. We will see how good he is when he faces the Celtics.

July 29, 2010  09:48 AM ET

Don't be surpised if the Miami experiment does not work that Bosh is the first one traded. Maybe to N.O. for Chris Paul.

The Knicks are in much better position then they have been in years. They are not bogged down with overpaid long term contracts (A'mare excluded), they have a clear vision for the future, cap space and young talent. I think A'mare will have enjoy playing for the Knicks. It may sound cliche but there is no place like the garden, and no better fans than Knick fans.

Excuse me? Why would NO want Bosh in exchange for CP? CP is one of the best PGs in the NBA and you would actually trade him for a Chris Bosh? Bosh is way, way overrated. Luckily for him he will be the "Alfred" down in Miami.
