Wisconsin hasn't given up on Brookfield Central (Wis.) punter/linebacker/tight end Brad Nortman, who has orally committed to Minnesota. All a member of Nortman's family would say Monday is that Brad has made a "verbal" commitment to Minnesota.

He'd be stupid to go to Minnesota. Go to Wisconsin kid, if you want to have success.

I think schools should leave recruits alone once they commit to another school.

why in he!! would you go to MInnesota over Wisconsin? It can't be for the academics or football.......he must have some rodent tail on campus!!

September 12, 2007  11:23 AM ET

It can't be for the party atmosphere or social events. Wisconsin tops Minnesota easily and pretty much the entire college nation.

Gophers are turning a leaf, Brewster is going to make a champion team!

Badgers hunt Gophers? Interesting. Did not know that.

I would go to Wisconsin before I go to Minnesota.

Lets see is there more to do in Madison a town the size of Green Bay or Minneapolis?

I choose Minneapolis. Lets remember that they dont go to class and study all day long. They might want to venture off campus to a place outside of the college and do something a little more fun with a little variety in life.

Good decision Brad. Play in the newest stadium in the big ten versus the oldest.

Not to mention the National titles belong to Goldy and Not Bucky.

Thats funny TBird, because from waht i can remember, UM is the same team that has gone the longest in the conference without winning a big ten title.

Yes, the goophs will have the newest stadium, but it will only hold 55,000 people, compared to a historic Camp Randall that holds 82,000. Camp Randall also had a major renovation in 2003, and is known around the country for its atmosphere.

Third, you obviously are a homer, because if you are from the state of WI, you would know that Madison is over twice the size of GB, and only about 80,000 less people than Minneapolis. So, you really cant call it small. Plus, its right downtown, and has just as much to do as downtown Minneapolis.
