08:12 AM ET 07.30 | Derrick Rose, when asked if he was upset that it appeared the Bulls have "little interest" in McGrady, seemed unfazed. "No, not really," Rose said after conducting a basketball camp at Joy of the Game in Deerfield. "Like I said before anything, I'm cool with the team I have right now. I think we have good youth on the team. We should be all right. If [McGrady] comes or if he doesn't, we should be able to compete out there. That's up to the Bulls."

Mighty , mighty slow day today......... - Maybe SD will be up early so he can start another 200 posts of the never ending lovefest between him and the world....

By saying "That's up to the Bulls" he's basically saying they don't have to give me what I want...which means he's not obligated to give them what they want... by signing signing an extension.

Or he's "allowing" Bulls management to make personnel decisions.....

Better watch it man, start that rumor up and the Knicks are likely to start clearing salary space for him.

Rose probably saw some video of McGrady's workout, then read some of that arrogant crap he was saying to the press and thought, "Pass."

Exactly. The Bulls don't need T-Mac. He would only disrupt the team...

That's good! Rose is becoming a more mature player and understands what he has around him. I wish LBJ understood that. Anyway, I think the Bulls are definitely going to compete with the Celtics and the Heat this year for top spot. Its going to be interesting.(:

Nah. He heard the hoopla through the media over his endorsement of this signing and he now backtracking. He wants T-mac, he just had a foot-in-mouth moment babbling about "he was my favorite player growing up". Damage control that's all it is.

this is as much a non story as the one that proclaimed Rose was pressuring the Bulls to sign him.

I think the bulls are going to compete with Milwaukee for the 5th seed.
