When the agent is the source it sounds like he's fishing for other offers.

Shannon Brown ... the obvious second choice when Lebron shuns you.

July 31, 2010  09:35 AM ET

Yep, trying to get the Lakers to up the offer to Brown...."with the representatives for free agent" is the writing from the Post paid by word....cause "according to Brown's agent, Mark Bartelstein." guess what he is the Representative.

Brown has got to improve his shooting if he wants thicker contract

This was supposed to be the season NY basketball made its huge comeback. It was gonna be a totally different team anchored by Lebron and they were gonna get back to the playoffs and make noise in the east...so far they've managed to get turned down by LBJ, trade away their best rebounder from last year, let 17 ppg go to Denver, gave Amare Stoudemire (a clear cut #2 option on just about any NBA team) $100 million, not to mention their PG situation is just as bad as last season, and their roster still looks essentially as it did last year....and they are still going to wonder why they suck all season long.

Good thing they spent 3 years clearing cap space so they could dream about what Miami has done in reality.

If this guy could shoot, he would be a hot commodity! He needs lots of work on that jumper!

Lmao, O here we go!

Brown is a good player but he very one dimensional. Amazing dunks and a 3 point shooter at times. He does bring energy coming out of the bench but he needs to improve his overall game big time to land the contract he wants, just dunking will not take him there.

Please don't point out the obvious to Lostwill, jgb, and gmanfan. They're expecting a miracle.

it's really bad indeed there, now it's all on hold for next year and Mello is the ticket now to join them.
I don't know but the whole NY organization is just managed really bad for so many years.
$100M for Amare is a waste of money and D'Antoni needs to takes out the "D" out of his name.

Its just amazing to see how little they actually have done, you could even argue they've taken a step back from last year. They needed a PG bad so they get....Raymond Felton?? Are you serious???

A good chunk of Stoudemire's stats are due to playing with one of the top 2-3 PG in the game, what do people expect now that he's playing with the 34th best PG in the game?? LMAO!!

He also needs to be like 3-4 inches taller

Hey jgb you're in luck you're favorite up-and-coming Laker can now be playing big minutes for big money for the Knicks!

Don't play poker with Buss, Bro.

QUOTE(#15):

Dang, you're in trouble. You are not suppose to bring reality about the Knicks in T&R. There are very die hard NY fans who don't know the meaning of reality. There still in fantasy land. They are about to bring it a notch more this year because they are already celebrating their championships w/ CP3 and Melo...

I know yet I find it hilariously entertaining. The problem is CP3 is still under contract, doesn't look like NO wants to trade him, and if they did want to trade him, who in god's name do the Knicks have that NO would want? And as soon as Melo signs his enormous extension with Denver, then what?? Wow...WHO is running the Knicks??? Clearly a group of extremely intelligent people!! LMAO!

QUOTE(#16):

stop it, we warned you.... Been there and done that and you won't like the backlash... They'll tell you how dumb you are....

Thanks for the warning bro but I'm good. I am actually curious as to what the Knicks are doing, because I cannot for the life of me figure it out on my own. So please, tell me how dumb I am and explain it to me, I would LOVE to understand!
