Geeeesh exactly what did Vick accomplish while he was qb? How many super bowl rings did we win while he was here? Did we win while I was asleep or something? I did not see everyone jumping ship when Vick lost his 1st freaking game. Atlanta is the most fair weather city I have ever seen. We all thought when Vick was drafted we were going to be unstoppable, I think we were stopped real quick b/c I do not think we won ****! This kid deserves a chance, he did OK in Miami, he had a 500 season, if he does that in the ATL I will be ok with the drama that we have had. Pre-season was not too shabby. BACK OFF and let the kid play a little.

i agree w/ America's Legend: screen and stretch plays would be a better way to utilize Norwood's skills.......now if Petrino will just mix up the play calling a little.......3 and out = 0-16.

I'm a Louisville resident who was born and raised in Atlanta, and so I am a fan of both the Cardinals and the Falcons. Give Petrino time (you won't have to give much). His offensive prowess is second to none.

And for the record, he secretly wanted a pocket-passer all along. That's all he's ever had. And this coming from a (former) Vick fan. As for mixing up play's... the man's playbook is twice as thick as the average NFL coaches.

Norwood is the future of the falcons back field. yea dunn is good, but not better than norwood. I say u start gettin' the ball to norwood at least 15-20 times and dunn at least 15-20, cause they dont have a line to protect the quaterback, plus they got rid of Schubb and lost Vick, this should be an intresting season for the falcons..

they need another backup qb, and they need protection for their qb, plus someone with hands or put velcro in our guys hands. not being able to catch is killing us.

Just to answer the above question... Vick won in Lambeau in the playoffs in 02 when everybody thought it was impossible.. He also had them one win from the Super Bowl so to say Vick didn't win is false
