September 12, 2007  07:13 AM ET

Don't do it Jerry.

September 12, 2007  07:22 AM ET

No No NO

This is not an option----

September 12, 2007  08:21 AM ET

Owens is working out. Set up his contract so that any trouble means NO money and he'll behave.

September 12, 2007  08:30 AM ET

Isn't he a 4-3 DT and not a 3-4 nose?

September 12, 2007  08:40 AM ET

if he can't make that switch, he doesn't deserve to play.

September 12, 2007  08:41 AM ET

in the NFL

September 12, 2007  08:41 AM ET

period

September 12, 2007  08:48 AM ET

You want Pacman Jones too?

September 12, 2007  08:49 AM ET

Tank is not THAT bad of a choice, Whitehat said it best, TO is working out for the most part, you just gotta be real strict and keep him on the straight and narrow or you thin out his already shrinking wallet even more...

September 12, 2007  08:51 AM ET

Regardless Tank's off the field trouble, the guy reminds me of a segment of NBA players - talented + lazy. Get ready for him to take every other play 'off'..

September 12, 2007  08:51 AM ET

he won't be 1/2 the distraction of TO

September 12, 2007  08:54 AM ET

good player, bad head case though.

September 12, 2007  09:00 AM ET

He can tote his guns everywhere in Texas without worrying though.

September 12, 2007  09:12 AM ET

Not to Mention Tank is a Piece of ****!

Like I said a MILLION TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tank Johnson is a Cover 2 under pass rushing DT not a 3-4 Gap NT. He doesn't have the strength to take on double teams on every play. He would get torn up. The only one player suited for that in Free Agency is NT Sam Adams....but he is old and Someone suggested Kris Jenkins....He is good but injury prone as well.

There are some good ones in the Draft next season.......It wont help us now but in the future....

DT Red Bryant, Texas A&M 6-5 330
DT Jason Shirley, Fresno ST. 6-5 330
DT BJ Raji, Boston Coll. 6-1 340* Acad. Ineligble for this season
DT Ron Brace, Boston Coll. 6-3 360 Jr.

September 12, 2007  09:18 AM ET

Tank Johnson did his time and paid his debt to society, so why shouldn't he be given a second chance to continue his career? All of these holier than thou comments must be coming from people who have never made a mistake in life. Stop being a hypocrite..........if you're living in a glass house don't throw stones.

September 12, 2007  09:23 AM ET

I'm sorry.....I have never drove drunk, Never got my house busted into and had cops take away all kinds of guns.....He has been watching too many Rapper/Gangster movies on BET. If he wants to live that lifestyle then do it. You wont play in the NFL.

September 12, 2007  09:24 AM ET

Thats what its like on here jcsmooth44-

Most of the people on here can overlook certain things by CERTAIN players and then turn their nose up when someone else does it. He served his time get over it.

September 12, 2007  09:24 AM ET

Oh yea....I have never done drugs or tested positive for anything in my life......People choose what they do and who they do things with. If you want to be a Gangster thug and try to act all hard.....Thats your thing. You will be the one bit in the *** and you can't blame it on the Cops.
