10:24 AM ET 08.01 | In a recent live chat hosted by MMAFighting.com, James Toney again talked about wanting to step in the cage with Brock Lesnar. Toney also explained that he believes Cain Velasquez has a serious chance of defeating Lesnar, whom he believes to be a coward based on his recent comeback win over Shane Carwin. "I like Cain Velasquez, and I think he has the ability to knock Lesnar out," Toney said. "I think that fight is a toss-up. Lesnar ran away from Shane Carwin like a girl, but then Carwin ran out of gas and quit. But I'll fight any of them, any time anywhere. That's my motto."

This idiot...I seem to remember Roy jones Jr Knocking him out while wearing 12 oz gloves. RJ Jr was relatively smaller than Toney and if thinks Lesnar couldn't bury him.
Also, Lesnat ran like a chicken...loving this since their isn't a HW in the world that wouldn't be backing up with Carwin teeing off on you. Toney sounds uneducated with some of the things he says as of late. I wonder if Dana is going to instantly cut him after Couture beats him.

Hopefully Couture punishes him for a round or two then choke his sorry _ss out.....This is a 42 year old washed up boxer that NO ONE wants to fight bc it doesnt further their career.... Hell its like Lesner fighting Dan Severn at this point....

Lesner is just TOO BIG for Toney.....& Toney is an old man now......Not that he would be able to beat him back in his prime, but he was a very crafty fighter ......

Especially if they grew up "street fighting".......That's one of the reasons I actually give Toney a chance of beating Courture ...I've only seen Courture fight one time though....I wouldn't bet any money on it....

Yeah I agree the smack talking is amusing at times. I'd also agree that toney's got a punchers chance at beating couture. all i can say is that I hope toney has a plan if he can't KO this guy. mma is NO tough man competition where you slug it out til someone gets KO'd or tires out. he's gonna need a plan and a backup plan.

When you talk about someone only having a puncher's chance in a fight, you're talking about Toney. He's the poster boy for "puncher's chance."

I want to say Chuck Lidel.....I think that's who he was fighting....I'm not 100% sure though.....All I remember is Courture Knocking his opponent the **** out......But he was telegraphing his punches BIG TIME!

Toney is talking A LOT of smack for some one that hasn't proven anything in the MMA world. Its going to be a cruel dream crusher when Randy takes the fight to the ground and pounds on him or taps him out. A fighter like Randy knows his strenghts and weakness, he is going to bring his ground A game.
