Stallworth leading Baltimore's offensive charge

07:30 AM ET 08.03 | Working with an offense that "seems ahead of schedule," Donte' Stallworth is proving to be a standout. So far, Stallworth has had an excellent camp. He has had several long catches for touchdowns, but also has run precise routes on the short catches. More importantly, he has shown great acceleration and keeps making yards after the catch, which was a problem for Ravens receivers last season. ... Quarterback Joe Flacco looks comfortable, and is regularly throwing to his second and third options. Flacco and backup quarterback Marc Bulger have been able to spread the ball around with Derrick Mason, Anquan Boldin, Todd Heap and Ray Rice making big plays as well.

This is the team to watch in the AFC. They should be making some noise.

AFC North will be fun to watch this season.

They still have to go through the first six games (@ Jets, @ Bengals, Browns, @ Steelers, Broncos, @ Patriots) without Ed Reed. Anything less than three wins and I'd worry about them.

Naw, I can see them lose one or two of those road games.

If nothing else, this will separate the contenders from the pretenders.
Be careful of Donte Stallworth on those short drives on the road, though.

Yup. Let's see...
Ravens 12-4. Cincy 9-7. Cleveland 8-8. Steelers 6-10.
Cleveland starts 1-3, Mangina disappears, Holmgren takes over and goes 8-4 the rest of the season. Steelers start slow and never recover. Cincinatti starts strong and fades. And nobody really challenges Baltimore.

They're going to be good on offense, probably better than they have ever been. There are lots of weapons there. However, that secondary is banged up bad. Defense might be their weak point this year, interestingly enough.

I'll probably pee myself if the browns finish ahead of the steelers...

Damn straight. Ray Lewis and company can only do so much if the corners are covering and Ed Reed is healthy. It could be a very, very interesting year for Baltimore.

obviously you know who my favorite team is but i still see pittsburgh contending w/ cincy and baltimore.
no way they finish with a worst record than the Browns.
whenever the steelers are counted out i when they perform best; same w/ the ravens, and it scares me the amount of respect and attention they're getting.
they never play well when expected IMO and always play better as underdogs.

Whoever made out the schedule this year deserves a medal. Opening game between the Ravens and Jets, two teams that made some aggressive moves in the off-season and are predicted to compete for the AFC championship. This could also be the beginning of a very good rivalry.

No way the Steelers don't make the playoffs.

You are nuts if you think the Ravens are going to be better than the Bengals. The Bengals threw at will on them last year and we have better receivers now and you lost your best CB, who was mediocre at best.
