Haynesworth's treatment wearing on 'Skins?

07:44 AM ET 08.04 | Mike Shanahan may be doing what's right for the organization, but he's helping launder Albert Haynesworth's reputation in the process. Even Shanahan's supporters wonder if his insistence on principle is beginning to set the team back. You hear whispers that Jim Haslett wants Haynesworth on the field and get the sense that even Haynesworth's critical teammates, formerly so resentful of his absence, are ambivalent about it now. "The more he sits out on the side watching, the more he's missing," Phillip Daniels said. "He needs to be out there, going live and learning stuff."

Get the fatty on the field. He should be able to do this for the amount they are paying him.

Haynesworth is only in camp so he isn't violating his contract and doesn't have to worry about the 'Skins coming after any money. He's "injured" because he's the same lazy piece of crap that he was before reporting. If Mike freakin' Golic could hack that drill, the $100M man should be able to hack it.

Haynesworth probably can't believe they expected him to show up in playing shape.

He had the option of doing the optional camps before, or having doing the test. He made the choice. Who knows, maybe the Skins don't want him anymore. If he can't pass, I assume they could cut him and take back the prorated bonus, since he's in violation of his contract. But I can't see them doing that, as regardless of the pain he is, they do need him.

From what I've read, he hasn't even tried to run the course again. I doubt he's working on the treadmill at night, instead of "maintaining" his weight.

But I would suspect he is violating his contract if he can't pass the fitness part he agreed to. He had the option of coming to the other off season camps to avoid having to take the test.

Shanahan posted that in hopes that Haynesworth would see it and get the hint.

His argument will be that he showed up but can't take the test because he's "injured." Failure to participate due to injury probably doesn't violate his contract, whether he's passed the conditioning test or not.

Hey Mike. Why don't you have your offensive linemen kick his sorry butt.

I think it may go as you say above where if he cannot ever pass the test he's in
violation of contract and they can release his butt and collect big money back to
spend on a player that can play...
