07:49 AM ET 08.05 | Terrell Owens will play Dallas Sunday, but he believes the Bengals will be playing in Dallas at season's end. "I didn't come to (Cincinnati) to mess," Owens told Bengals.com this week. "We're looking to be in Dallas Feb. 6." That's right: Owens believes the Bengals, who signed him to a one-year deal last week, are destined for the Super Bowl. ... Owens took a heavy-incentive contract and less money up front to sign with Cincinnati. But he doesn't seem to mind. "I definitely took a pay cut to grasp the opportunity to win a Super Bowl," he said. "I know I???m worth more than what I'm being paid. But I'm here playing with my good friend Chad (Ochocinco) and playing with a team that definitely has an opportunity to win the Super Bowl."

Oh...I thought it was because you were 3 days away from a training camp, and no one was calling... but hey, here's to the glass being half full!

Took less money to go to a Superbowl? Oh, this is gonna be good. When he realizes that's not happening, the meltdown will be epic. Screw the bus ... TO will throw Palmer under a freight train.

I just hope that he does the honorable thing and jump under the train after he throws Palmer under it.

He took a pay cut to go to Cincinatti because it's not as big as the pay cut he would have taken for his next-best offer at McDonalds.

Do you suppose he can get a Mickey D's job in Dallas?

August 5, 2010  08:16 AM ET

T.O. is out of his mind. someone please give him a drug test.

Nice spin T.O. A pay cut? You can't call it a cut in pay if no one is teeing up your phone number. You'll be in Dallas alright...actually Arlington but selling popcorn.

"I didn't come to (Cincinnati) to mess," Owens told Bengals.com this week. "That's what I did when I threw Garcia under the bus in San Francisco. That's what I did when I threw McNabb under the bus in Philadelphia. That's what I did when I threw Romo under the bus in Dallas. I definitely took a pay cut to grasp the opportunity to win a Super Bowl. I know I could have made more money by collecting unemployment, applying for food stamps and going on welfare. But I'm here playing with my good friend and psychopath Chad Ochocinco and playing with a team that definitely has an opportunity to win the Super Bowl ... in the 22nd century. And in the meantime, the bus is waiting for Palmer."

Why not, DD? I see senior citizens working the cash register all the time...and plus, Mickey D's can always use a fill in Ronald McDonald clown for the the Kid's Play Place-especially the indoor ones around Feb6 time frame?

August 5, 2010  08:48 AM ET

Salary shouldn't be as important to TO as the health care package. They play the Ravens twice, after all.

It's a tough transition for TO to do Mickey D's in Dallas, Chief. It's a whole different culture.

All his life, he's worked on his delivery of "Do you want fries with that?"

To work in Dallas, he'd have to change it to "Y'all want fries with that?"
