08:04 AM ET 08.05 | After making Shaq a green giant, the Celtics, who have been considering Rudy Fernandez, may according to a Twitter post be putting Larry Hughes in their sights. Hughes is a journeyman at this point in his career, having played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks and Charlotte Bobcats since 2007. Known as a scorer coming into the league, his shooting percentages have trended towards the abysmal in recent years but he can still get buckets without needing huge minutes.

Why would they want this dude?

Why are the Celtic's signing these team killers like Shaq and now maybe Hughes? It smells of desperation. Larry WILL complain about his playing time and so will Shaq.

Good. Keep signing these players, Celtics. Try to blow up that team chemistry. Doc is probably thinking - "I came back for the cluster-f?!"

"according to a twitter post"?! a.) WHO'S twitter post and b.) when did a web site filled with people perpetrating others become a "reliable news sourse"? And why does CNNSI even acknowledge such drivel?

Still cant be worse than what the Cavs have !

Seems like an attempt to just spend some money. Save the cap space for next year, and maybe along with a player or two make a move for an allstar. There will be a couple of nice Free Agents on the market next year. Just seems like a move to fill a hole in the roster.

See, you always try and push buttons. That's exactly what I'm talking about, when it comes to you. For somebody that has a good team, with three great players, you sure do worry about my CAVS a lot. Let me worry about them, and you take care of MIA bro. Dee, come get your boy!

It's all good tee, because if these three don't win a ring this year or the next, they will get ripped all over these boards anyway. A bunch of Cavs fans, not u, got on here and talked as much noise as humanly possible and then ended up looking dumb.
