Ken Holland: "I don't have a title for him ..."
More than a few players who played against him might have some suggestions. But .. I don't think that's the kind Holland is looking for. Good to see Cheli staying in the game.

Ken Holland must be a lot smarter than me because I always thought Chelios didn't know jack.
Canuck eh?

He probably told Holland: "In a pinch, I can always lace 'em up again and play a couple of games if the injuries mount."

Considering the trades, signings and draft picks that some of these guys go, knowing jack doesn't seem like a job requirement.

Agreed, lot of heart in that body! Let us see what's in his head! I hope he realizes you don't have to wear equipment to the front office?

I suspect he'll die with elbows sticking out and a hockey stick in his hands. Sure made the most of what he had to work with and did it for a very long time.

No fear! Chelios will make sure Forsberg shows up with his spleen in the jar of formaldehyde where he's kept it since the 2001 Stanley Cup playoffs against the L.A. Kings.

Now, now, kingeraaa, what's with the sudden humility? Don't give me any of this "poor me'' business. I just read your posts on the Modano thread. And the ones yesterday. You've had some good ones lately. Keep it up. We all have our moments of inspiration.
