DiPietro expects to be ready for camp

He's looking forward to taking part in training camp. Doesn't he think he'll stay healthy for the season? Hey, its a good job if you can get it.

DiPietro could be a really good goalie. But....... it doesn't help when he is always injured and in front of the one of the worst defensive units out there year after year.

I wouldn't be holding my breath, HTG. We've been waiting for him to show us how good he can be for a whole decade now. The guy's never player more than 32 games in a season. Ever. Not even in the minors. He's Mr. Peanut Brittle.

I think you mean never had more than 32 wins. He had a couple 60+ season for the Isles, right when he signed that long term deal I believe. Being in the area, I saw him play a lot of games over a 2-3 yr span.

The Great One loves him. When ever anybody starts giving her abuse about Booby Lou's play and his contract she always says, "Well, at least he's not Dipietro."

Yep. In a four-year span, he played in 50, 63, 62 and 63 games. Then he broke down and hasn't played much the past two years. I wouldn't risk him getting injured again in the preseason if I coached the Isles. A period here, a period there then go sit down, Rick.

This guy has had a decade to show us why he was a 1st rounder, and if it isn't good enough for Price, to keep losing, then it shouldn't be o.k to let Roloson do all the work for your team while coming out with a winning record, while you sit on the press box saying " i use to make glove saves like that.........in street hockey! Well if he's finally healthy (and not the Sami Salo of goalies ie Mr.Peanut Brittle) maybe I'll finally get to see him play a game for whatever reason The Isles suck he was hurt the Back up was playing I have never seen him play .With all the games I see I must have seen him .But I can't come up with one memory of him besides the sports highlights (being a goalie have never been fond of them usually making us goalies look bad)

over-under for # of games mr glass plays this year = 17 ( including training camp scrimmages and pre-season games )

Some other pretty good net-minders have come back to stardom after long layoffs, and major injuries - why not this guy?

A comeback would be great if he ever did arrive. The guy sure has had a tough luck career though and it would be nice to finally see what he could do.
