It's really cute when people dog Dana for getting on Anderson when he dances and taunts. He's being paid a few hundred thousand guaranteed every time he steps in the octagon to FIGHT. That's like paying some kid to cut your grass, and all he does is walk around your yard and smell your flowers.

I know nothing about MMA sports, but if his claim is even a little bit true, this is going the way of boxing/Don King. It's a shame we can't get 2 guys to beat the heebie-jeebies out of each other fairly anymore. Would be more authentic to just take a videocamera to any big city's street corners and/or alleys.

The only plausible reason they would have for wanting him to lose is because of what I said before. When he fights guys who aren't as aggressive, he spends most of the fight taunting and attempting to embarrass his opponent rather than just putting them away.

Except for the fact that this kid your paying to mow your lawn has done it hundreds of times and your lawn is now the best lawn in the neighborhood and is known worldwide because of how well kept up and pretty it is. That's an analogy for you.

Anderson Silva has made the UFC millions, and now Dana and the rest of the worthless P.O.S ZUFFA execs are turning on him. I wonder how long UFC will last????? Turning on their fighters and treating them like crap, it's only a matter of time before fighters and fans get tired of Dana White and ZUFFA. Hopefully investors step up and create some competition for the UFC.

That would be nice if it were true FCLucho, but Anderson Silva isn't a big draw. He could be if he fought up to his talent, but people a tired of paying good money to see him make an ass of himself for 5 rounds when he should be KOing these guys in 1 round.

The UFC was around before Silva, and it will probably be around long after him. Its the dominant organization of its kind, and while Silva is very popular, people are getting tired of his playing games in the ring.

Every athlete, and fans of that athlete, believe that person is irreplaceable, but everyone gets replaced. UFC has plenty of bankable stars.

The people dogging Dana White are the exact same people who are going to keep MMA from gaining worldwide credibility. The people dogging White don't care that White is trying to keep the sport ethical by eliminating unsportsmanlike behavior. If MMA is ever going to become mainstream, it will be because Dana White doesn't allow the thug mentality to enter the ring. You people dogging White obviously think the thug mentality is OK. The upper crust is laughing at all of you like the trailer trash, street hooligans, and ghetto goonies that you represent by saying Silva should be allowed to taunt opponents and disrespect his BOSS, Dana White.

You guys are slow if you really think he is disrespectful, what about the lack of a real opponet. The last couple of fights Silvia has been in the people he was up against should have been in the B league. Demian Maia, Forrest Griffin, they looked like they where put in the cage with a pro and the where just starting there fight career. Demian Maia said some stuff he should not have and he was made to look like a tard. Forrest Griffin was the light weight champ and you all saw what he did to him. Come on people. He has the most wins and the most title defences. Um the best In the world are in the UFC and he has made them look like they where in the wrong sport. Nothing against Matt and Chuck but during there time they where fighting fighters that are in no way comparable to the fighters we have now. Thats just the truth the fighters now are not strikers or wrestlers the are MMA fighters they do it all and are better then ever at it. Chael will lose badly in the first or second round!!!! Hopefully Silvia will break his disrespectful ass mouth and we will never have to hear his B.S. again Chael makes the sport look bad not Silvia. Silvia just makes the other fighter look bad for not being good enough to carry his jock strap.

I would also be willing to bet the people dogging White are the same ones that boo Jon Fitch, who is an EXCELLENT MMA fighter, just because they don't see enough head-pounding and blood when he fights. Why don't you boo GSP? His fighting style is the same. He rarely finishes. Fitch is a survivor, with tons of heart, who almost always finds a way to win, often against athletically superior opponents. In a street fight, this would be grounds for instant respect, but not here, with the THUG mentality. Ya'll want taunting, blood, head-pounding- no intelligence or superior tactics. When the UFC flops due to fan demand for thuggish fights, you'll only have yourself to blame, just like the joke of a sport called boxing!

UG- They both need to stop taunting and running their mouths, regardless of who is better, and have some respect for other fighters, the sport of MMA, and their bosses. Being a good fighter isn't a license to taunt. Only unintelligent, thug, jack**es, one step removed from the street display this behavior. Another strike against the UFC in the battle to become a dominant mainstream sport.

Silva can't "not fight" by himself. Any fight in which people say Silva didn't fight, they have to also say his opponent refused to fight.

UG- what a ridiculous thing to say. America is paying his salary, so he DOES need to do what they want. You're suggesting that everybody in America should disrespect their bosses because they have freedom of speech? LMAO! Also, I never suggested I am upper crust, but I am very knowledgeable about the sport, and Ive had upper crust people at my MMA parties who will NOT gravitate toward MMA as long as it is a thuggish sport. While American and White are paying Silva, he needs to **** and respect his bosses. There are MANY other fighters that can take his place as top draws with or without Silva. I can see you have no concept of morals, ethics. honor, or sportsmanship. I bet you're young, all about instant gratification, and even root for teams that have cheated or whose players have broken the law. You'll be the ruin of this sport. Just sayin....
