Reggie Sanders??? long and productive career appears to be winding down after two injury-plagued seasons with the Royals. Sanders, who reached the majors in 1991, signed a two-year, $10 million contract with the Royals in 2006. He was brought in to play outfield and provide leadership to a young club.

This guy was very underappreciated in his prime.

He'll take his millions and retire to the verdant hills of the Ukraine, where he'll raise miniature poodles and free-range **** biters.

**** insert your own scabrous vulgarity above.

Class guy.....made a lot of moves, but was a locker-room leader and always came ready to play. I agree with The Truth.....very overlooked in his career...... sorry to see him retire, baseball needs more pros like him.

The St. Louis Cardinals will probably go out & sign him.

I met him at a Suns game ( he was playing for the D'backs at the time). Definitely a class guy that always played hard...

I figured that he is the right age for the Giants to sign
