07:16 AM ET 08.09 | To hear one Ohio State player tell it, Terrelle Pryor maybe wasn't a great teammate during his first two years as a Buckeye. Of course, the player explaining this was Pryor himself. "I think I was a little arrogant, to tell the truth," Pryor said Sunday. Pryor claimed he's not ready for it to end anytime soon. Unprompted, he said he'd return for his senior season, which might be a smart move according to some draft analysts.

Arrogance is an unhealthy trait that a lot of top tier athletes have from all the praise thrown their way. I am just glad that Terrelle is starting to talk to the public in a thinking manner. His quote from his freshmen year is still fodder for the Buckeye pounders.

I don't know if I'd call arrogance "unhealthy" for an athlete, Papa. If one becomes an arrogant "prick", then thats another story. But arrogance on its own is almost a necessary evil. Confidence is good, but most of the greats are arrogant (some even "pricks")

I kind of agree with this. He has all the talent in the world, but it just has not shown on the field consistently.

I would have liked to have heard some of this humble talk yesterday. It was team picture day and my family and I got to go onto the field and meet everyone. He didn't say a word or smile the whole time but at least he signed autographs and took pictures with everyone.
He needs to take a page from some of the other players who were just as happy to see THEIR fans as we were to see them!
I am still a huge fan of this kid and I do believe this is the year that they can take the next step and win a National Title. GO BUCKS!!!

I think the Rose Bowl should have shown him that he can rely on his arm and reads just as much as his legs. He was injured for that game and had to use his arm to make plays, which turned out very well.
If he is coming back next year, IF, then it will do him good because he still has a LOT of learning to do on the field.
(I say IF because when you live in Ohio you have to see it to believe it!)

Sure...
... and stubborn too.
Most successful people have a touch of stubborness because they believe they know what's best and have achieved a certain amount of success to support their belief.
Of course, humility is a great trait because at some point we ALL will fall.
