07:45 AM ET 08.09 | Carlos Delgado made his first appearance at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, Maine, on Sunday morning, taking ground balls at first base and taking some swings in the cage. He could be ready to play "as early as tomorrow," PawSox manager Torey Lovullo said, and probably will start out by getting three at-bats as a designated hitter. Delgado said he and his agent talked to the Chicago White Sox, the Colorado Rockies and the Seattle Mariners before deciding on his old American League East rival Red Sox.

Delgado had power before he had surgery, he will have power now. Just needs to tune up the timing.

They talked to 3 teams? Doesn't mean those 3 teams were listening...
If Youkilis did get injured, Carlos would still be fishing and having 1 sided conversations with 3 other teams...
