07:54 AM ET 08.10 | If (when?) we find out Darrelle Revis will not be lining up in Week 1, the Jets have, for now, promoted a first-rounder from Boise State to fill his spot. Monday morning's back-to-work-after-the-scrimmage practice at SUNY Cortland was just another day at the office for rookie CB Kyle Wilson, starter for the New York Jets. "Yeah, I was still with the ones this morning," Wilson said of lining up at right corner with the first defense. "They kind of tell me as they go over it each day. You just find out daily. But any time I'm out there, everything's the same for me. I get out there and try to compete and make plays, whatever group I'm in." Wilson also got the start for the first drive of Saturday's Green & White scrum and for the first team's first drive of the second half of the scrimmage.

Tom Brady and Randy Moss like this move. Week 2 boys! Ring it up!

August 10, 2010  08:08 AM ET

#1 is reserved for your starting goalie. Appropriate, since Flacco and Brady will be shooting at him in weeks 1 and 2, respectively.

Is this a ploy to shame Revis into coming back to support his team?

ROFLMAO!! Yeah, wait to you all see his 'war face' (remember Private Joker's war face as Gunny got up in his grill in Full Metal Jacket?) LOL

But without the sizzle.

LMAO, this poor rookie is about to get his feelings hurt. I'm sure Ochocinco likes it.

Otis...that look just screams, "I hope I don't shat myself".

August 10, 2010  08:38 AM ET

He doesn't look happy to be there, he's got the "I'm doomed" look on his face.

Reminds me of the stupid little emergency spare tires they put in little cheap cars for when a real tire goes flat. It's just enough to get you to the shop.

Good analogy, that's exactly what this is for the Jets.

Too many miles and that tire will BLOW! Mr. Wilson has that "ready to blow" look already.

I bet you Revis's teammates patience is getting pretty thin right about now! I understand that he wants a new contract but take a look at what Mangold is doing. He is going to play because he knows its whats best for the team. It would be really funny if he held out all year and the Jets went on to win the SB.
Revis does deserve a new contract but he is going about it all wrong. He should play his **** off this year and show the team that he is a team player but wants more money because he deserves it, like Nick Mangold.

Being a Jet fan just doesn't have an upside. Even when they look like they've turned a corner they sheet the bed. Starting with Pete Kendall they've delveloped a reputation as liars who say "We'll take care of you down the road" when they have no intention of doing so. They refuse to pay Mangold and Revis yet they give their 2nd year coach and their GM extensions to rub salt in the wound. Amazing.
