08:11 AM ET 08.11 | Until a legal ruling makes things more clear, Isiah Thomas headlines will likely involve opinion, and Jim Boeheim was not shy about his thoughts on Thomas' reunion with the Knicks. Three members of the Team USA coaching staff weighed in Tuesday on the Knicks' controversial hiring of Isiah Thomas as a consultant, with Mike Krzyzewski and Jim Boeheim saying it crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed. "If it's good one place, then it's good anywhere," Boeheim said after the U.S. men's national team scrimmaged on the city's west side in preparation for the upcoming FIBA World Championships in Turkey. "You throw all that out there, and it wouldn't be good. It doesn't make much sense to me. I just don't think it's a good thing."

This is not the Knicks. This is Dolan. What's taking the league office so long to void this stupid deal and ban Dolan from making a direct hire? Dear Stern please hurry up to remove this cloud over our franchise we can look forward to the great season ahead.

It doesn't seem like that big a deal, who cares. People are so righteous about how we treat college athletes, other companies are in contact with star students and no one cares.
That said Knicks fans luck out if the deal is void.

Will somone please explain why we're still waiting for a "ruling." Once again the media machine is milking a story to keep the Bricks relevant. I can almost write the outcome now. The NBA will rule that the hiring presents a conflict of interest--Isiah will resign his position at FIU and go to work for the Bricks--end of story.
