08:08 AM ET 08.12 | In New York for a publicity event, Chris Bosh revealed that any mixed messages he sent in the run-up to his signing with the Heat were also part show biz. In being asked about his destination, "well, in my case, I'm going to have fun with it. I'm going to play with people's emotions. I'm going to be high and low." The admission -- long suspected of the Heat triumvirate (Bosh, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade) -- would help explain the varying reports about Bosh's destination during the long free agency process. ... Turns out, Bosh was sending out mixed messages for kicks -- tweeting every step of the way. "I wouldn't call it a game because it's serious, but, I mean, it's entertainment at the end of the day."

And these are the same people that want to be taken seriously by their fans. NBA players are selfish and don't really care about the paying publics emotions.

Omg, this mess is so old. They knew where they were going before free agency even began.

He folded up like a cheap suitcase after the Allstar break so he wouldn't hurt himself.

Just another reason why people think these guys are selfish. But at least he didn't go third person.

anyone else feel like kicking this guys teeth in?

August 12, 2010  08:53 AM ET

Stupid. I'm tired of these articles. I'm not even going to get into anything relating to this. We ALL know the truth behind this whole mess, whether everyone will actually admit it or not.

"I wouldn't call it a game because it's serious, but, I mean, it's entertainment at the end of the day."

Of course it's entertainment. Your a tall person who places a ball in a basket. That's it. You have nothing to do with normal people's lives or the country we are in. Be careful though Bosh, some of these fool's worshiping the NBA/NFL and it's players as idols can't separate entertainment from reality...

It certainly is entertainment But what adults find amusing and what 12 year olds find amusing are 2 different things.......Chris needs to realize he's not 12

Yep....a 12 year old, making $14.5 million

That's the problem right there. They made mockery of everything and everyone. It's quiet pathetic how they exploited the rules to force many teams to tank the season and hold off making moves that would have put money into many pockets. I think they're yet to realize the impact of what they did... they have alienated many in many cities and it'll show in some way. I can only hope against hope.

Bosh hasn't played a full season without getting hurt since he was 12 years old.

Grow up, Bro.

so money makes the man? I don't think so, and in this case chris is acting like a child. He's supposed to be a man, act like one. Karma is one cruel MOFO and these three children, errr two children and wade, better hope they can outrun it. Two big kids and Wade sounds like a catchy sitcom, but it won't win them any fans acting like fools.

sniff sniff sniff i smell haters lol

Why would he say this now, does he want to be hated too? Or does he wants the hate spotlight as much as LBJ?

I just honestly believe him and LBJ both don't realize what childish baffoons they come off as to the rest of the country. Their 'yes men' must keep them obvlivious to the obviousness of the truth. Wade I'll cut slack because he hasn't been acting like a fool and has always represented himself as a man, but jeez Bosh and James seem to get dumber by the afternoon and Bosh handled his decision very well, so why throw all that goodwill away for a kindergarden level rant on twitter?

Should we just change bosh and james's nickname to "dumb and dumber"?

Not quite the role model I'd want for my kids.
