08:33 AM ET 08.13 | Charles Barkley is not ready to let up on LeBron James, nor will he be if James wins a title. "He's got to win multiple championships to make that situation work, at least two," the Hall of Famer and TNT analyst said. ... Barkley has been critical of James since he announced his decision to go to Miami on the July 8 ESPN show "The Decision." The next day, James, joined by a re-signed Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, who left Toronto for the Heat as a free agent, danced around together on a stage at American Airlines Arena. Barkley said in a recent interview with ESPN Radio 103.3 FM in Dallas/Fort Worth that each incident was a "punk move" by James.

When I saw the clips of the three stooges dancing, it was so gai I kept expecting them to break out into song:

"Throw out your hands!!
Stick out your tush!!
Hands on your hips
Give them a push!!
You'll be surprised
You're doing the French Mistake!!
VOILA!!"

He should challenge LeBron to a fight! Imagine it...Mandalay Bay - PPV - ring card girls in Thongs! I love Barkley's comment he knows where to find me, I'm on the air every day! Come get some LePUNK! That Barkley, he's too funny. I know people are going to call him a hater, but he has a right to be critical of NBA players, he's an analyst and also an ex-player. In fact, he was one of the best to play the game, but like LBJ, just not in the right circumstance to win it all. He was run out of Philly and left Phoenix because he didn't get it done there either so while it's a little hypocritical for him to talk about James leaving, I don't think he has a problem with that as much as he does the WAY he did it and the fact that he is doing the "big three" thing with D-Wade and Botch (Bosh). I am always entertained by Sir Charles, he's a hoot!

Maybe the Co-main event to Shaq vs Rome....Two and a half men enter and only one leaves....

I agree that the show "The Decision" was not necessary by LBJ to let Cleveland know he was leaving to Miami !

But c'mon are we seriously going to follow Chuck as the poster boy bashing LBJ?

1) Barkley himself pushed it way out of Philly, then pushed himself out of Phoenix to go play for Houston to win a championship but we all know how that went...so i guess you can say Chuck is upset he left the NBA without a ring.

2) We are listening to a guy who has said NBA players are not role models, has thrown guys thru windows @ bars, been arrested for DUI's & is drowning in dent due to gambling?

Iam sure Barkley will be LBJ's list...but lets see later when Barkley back pedals after the Heat do big things in the NBA !

This is funny stuff......LMAO.....Much better stuff than we've had the last few weeks. Is it really relevant to sports? Naaaa probably not. But it sure as hell is entertaining....

People like Barkley because he has personality, unlike Lebron, who has never said a genuinely fascinating or clever thing.

Iam still waiting for a post regarding the 4 team trade that went on a few days ago...but instead FN puts up some non relevant stories !

For the last 15 or so years, this statement is absolutely correct. Well, that is unless you *want* your child to grow up and be a punk, gansta or whatever.

Look, nobody doubts that this team has the potential to be great. That's a given considering you have 2 of the 3 best players on the planet. I don't hate on that. I recognize the potential for greatness there. What I hate on is this: 1. The Decision 2. The punk way LBJ b**** slapped the organization, city and the fans 3. The WWE like rally in Miami with fireworks and all that crap. That's what I hate on. If he would have just quietly taken "His Talents to South Beach" without all that crap this stuff would have been over the week after it happened.

Someone should tell Barkley he longer plays and never won when he did. He acts as if he's this wise old sage constantly offering advice after a lifetime of mistakes and bad pr moves. If this were a Jordan or a Magic fine but this is a guy who tried what Lebron did (remember Houston?). He can run his mouth from the safety of the broadcast booth. He's just mad because his mouth has gotten him in trouble at work. Don think for a minute TNT executives arent worried about being shunned and denied access by the new big 3. The biggest basketball story in a long time and there will be no sideline, halftime and post game interviews. There will be no sit downs with those three its a mess. Barkley is a gambling addict who no longer plays, imagine the dire financial straits he would find himself in if he were to be fired? Antoine Walker made alot more money than Barkley and we see how broke he is. I would venture losing his TNT paycheck would hurt Barkley. He basically picked a fight with the most popular guys in school, do you really see him getting invited to any of their parties.

*gangsta

August 13, 2010  09:13 AM ET

I guess you guys are mising the big picture... Barkley is pissed cause the Heat are screweing up the NBA betting odds at Vegas

August 13, 2010  09:13 AM ET

I'm not real fond of Barkely and his opinion but I'll give it to the guy for speaking whatever is on his mind.

I will give you that...Barkley is entertaining to watch & listen !

LBJ doesnt have the same character as Barkley so you cant really compare the 2 on that but you can compare them on the court & LBJ will go down as a better player than Chuck !
