10:03 AM ET 08.15 | Germain Racing's Max Papis expects to remain a GEICO-sponsored driver but whether he competes in another full Sprint Cup race with the sponsor this year remains to be seen. Casey Mears is expected to replace Papis in the No. 13 Germain Racing car in the Sprint Cup Series for the next sponsored race in September at Atlanta.

Jeez, Float must be back if this is the best story T&R can come up with. I was hardly aware that Papis was racing Cup except for the road courses..

FLOAT has been sneaking in under cover of darkness. Of course with the heat in his neck of the woods, he might lay low during daylight hours. This is a great article on the morning of a race. LOL

August 15, 2010  11:25 AM ET

Start and Park, which is strange cause GEICO should have the money to Pony up for a Full Sponsorship

It wasn't a typical day for the Hendrick gang. Not that often the whole bunch finishes up the track. Gordon looked good coming from the back to crack the top 5 until tire trouble ended his day. Kind of nice to see J.J. falter a little again. Mark is still plugging along and of course Jr. was Jr.
