Manny on the move?

08:12 AM ET 08.17 | Let your mind wander. Might you see Manny Ramirez, who will be playing for a contract, in Chicago, or New York, or Texas, or -- gasp -- Boston? Many expect that once Manny is activated from the disabled list, he will be placed on the waiver wire. Which could cause all kinds of interesting scenarios and dilemmas for several clubs. If you're the White Sox, do you put a claim on him, knowing full well the Dodgers might let him go through to unload the almost $5 million left on his contract? ... Would the Red Sox have to consider making a claim on him to prevent him from going to the rival Yankees, Rays or Rangers? Is that just too weird to contemplate?

Not welcome in Boston. Been there, done that. Never again.

After watching the Yanks go scoreless for 17 straight innings, Swisher could be hurt, Arod with a calf problem, I wouldn't mind seeing Manny play for the Yanks for the rest of the season

A washed up cheat, he should be shunned by any team with a shred of dignity. Oh yeah, this is pro baseball so there will probably be a bidding war.

i was listening to a sports radio show the other day and the topic was "Who do you wish would retire?...it was a response to the latest news about Favre. My answer...Manny Ramirez. He's always been a buffoon but now he's just a sad, washed up side show joker of a man. Pathetic. I doubt he'll be in baseball after this season. He can't stay healthy without PEDs.

Wheres the proof this guy ever cheated?

Sincerely, Roger Clemens

I hope he goes to an AL team where he can DH.

It pains you that much to watch him play in the field? How about Cleveland

What team are you a fan of and are we all to believe that not one player on that team used steroids? I don't like em either but bashing guys you don't like for it and ignoring the rest gets old...

Is that what you call what he does in the outfield, kind of like saying Manny runs the bases, or runs at all...

oh please baseball gods let him go back to boston!

Over the hill? Does anyone around here actually look at stats anymore? He's hitting .317 with a .409 OBP. His numbers projected out to a full 162 games are 21 Home runs and 103 RBI. I would love to be over the hill like that. The guy can still hit.

Would hate to see him got the Rays.
