Fresh off getting dominated in their ACC opener Saturday night, Georgia Tech's Yellow Jackets got more bad news on Sunday. Defending ACC rushing champion Tashard Choice is questionable for Tech's first intra-divisional game Saturday at Virginia, coach Chan Gailey said. Choice strained a hamstring late in the third quarter of Tech's 24-10 loss to Boston College.

this would hurt, GT needs him if they want to win.......

GA Tech has more critical problems on their hands..they are starting to head dangerously close to having as many ugly uniforms as Oregon. Those uniforms are for fancy playin' not plain playin'!

September 17, 2007  08:39 AM ET

you are starting to sound like a country singer there Truth....

September 17, 2007  08:46 AM ET

I will pretend I didn't see that

September 17, 2007  10:38 AM ET

TRUTH, the ugly uniform award goes to.....drumroll please.......THE UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA! i caught a glimpse of their unis during Sat's game against Texas (yes, it was televised)......just awful.

Pick 'em and stick 'em!

That sucks for G Tech and Tashard. He is a great runner that was due to have a great season, AGAIN. I hope he gets healthy and back on the pitch.

September 17, 2007  11:46 AM ET

I hope he plays, or else it might be a sad season and boring season for GT. He is fun to watch....Truth, you know you saw it. I really do not think GT is that bad.

TRUTH is an ardent admirer of the Jackets! Grandaddy TRUTH was expelled from that great academic institution back in '24

i watched most of that game......BC just outplayed them in every aspect. GT has a good team but i don't think they were prepared for this one.

September 17, 2007  01:38 PM ET

As a GT alum, it pains me to write this, but the Jackets were outclassed by BC in every phase of that game with the exception of punting. Here's hoping that Choice is healthy and running again soon.

September 17, 2007  04:01 PM ET

The Jackets were definitely out played. I hope to see the 2 play again in a bowl game.

September 17, 2007  04:06 PM ET

They probably won't need him against Virginia, but they will definitely need a healthy Tashard Choice if they want to make a run at the ACC title.

September 17, 2007  06:35 PM ET

Why wouldn't they need him against Virginia? Are you suggesting their passing game can carry them anywhere?

September 17, 2007  10:02 PM ET

I was saying that because Virginia blows thats why.

September 19, 2007  04:08 AM ET

this hurts gt that goodness they are only playing virginia
