Seattle's diminutive WR Butler making impact

08:07 AM ET 08.20 | Deon Butler is small, but he's becoming easier to find in the Seattle offense. Just look at last Saturday's exhibition opener against Tennessee. When the Seahawks went for it on fourth-and-two, quarterback Charlie Whitehurst lofted a 36-yard pass to Butler. Now, Seattle is even considering playing Butler in the slot. ... [Any] thought that Butler might become one of those casualties [in the offseason regime change] has evaporated. The question is no longer whether he will make the team, but how prominently he might be featured.

This team isn't good enough to talk about or bad enough to laugh it. There are no boobs in any of the stock pictures of Pete Carroll, either. Who cares? Like, I've got more compassion for flood victims in Pakistan than I do for the Seahawks.

Pete Carroll will fail in the NFL again!!!

W0W ... Way to show class.
That was pretty uncalled for. Most of todays society has evolved past the stage of hating something just for the sake of hating it. I seriously doubt they'll miss your loyalty either.
How do I explain this --- If I thought so highly of something, I sure as hell wouldn't waste my time visiting that thread just to complain about it.
But hey - thats just me.

GO HAWKS!!!
VIVA LA EVOLUTON!!!

we don't necessariarly hate the hawks we just like to make fun of them. DD said their not bad enough to laugh at, so take that as a positive, Kind of.

It is so nice to see pete's contacts in SoCal get him so postive press, instead of all that NCAA saction press. Glad to know they are taking your calls again pete.

Really, guys, it was more of "Why the F are you putting up such crapola threads, anyway? Like, why the F don't you put up threads about that guy whose name starts with F?"

I farted! :o

Pete Carroll will probally end-up using Deon Butler in the Seahawks Offense like the Boston Patriots are known to use Wes Welker in their's... Anything positive will help in Seattle after last years Seahawk performance

Whoa, that's exactly how we feel about the Steelers in Seattle. We hate those guys because... er... Ooooh, I get it. Yeah, I understand. Your guys shoulda beat my guys but Romo flubbed the hold. It'd tick me off, too. No hard feelings.
