11:01 AM ET 08.21 | From a football standpoint, the Bryce Brown saga had already reached a conclusion. Now it appears all the loose ends are tied up between the former Tennessee running back and the Vols. According to an ESPN.com report Friday, Brown was interviewed by the NCAA about his recruitment as part of the continuing investigation into UT and former Coach Lane Kiffin to close one chapter. Brown also reportedly made a case to appeal his denial of a scholarship release from new coach Derek Dooley on Thursday.

This guy is at Kansas State now. We won't see him on the field for at least another 13 months. Let it go, FN.

Now how will the NCAA handle this if the NCAA discoveres a few or more recruiting violations involving Bryce Brown, during the invesestigation into Coach Lane Kiffin and the Tennessee program... with Lane Kiffin already at already investigated and fined USC? Will they fine Tennesee too; with nothing being done to Kiffin; Allowing him to, lets say move on to Alabama, or Ohio St; When the water gets to deep for him at USC in a few years... Or will the NCAA fine and get the "Screwing and cheating Lane Kiffin out of Coaching in the NCAA? Where he can coach in the Arena Football League--probally where he alt to be anyway

UTk will get hit if there are problems. NCAA might do something to Kiffy but he was doing it while at UTk so they will be held responsible. Think Pete Carroll regime.

FJJ, Thanks for clearing that up... I am antisipating that the NCAA will uncover something on Lane Kiffy while at Tennessee.

While I never "hated" him for leaving... I am glad he's gone so we can move on... but damn! He could have at least had the courtesy to take his problems with him. :-(

Poor USCw. In 2 years when all of the Pete Carroll penalties are about to come off their shoulders, old Lane will probably have committed enough by then to garner them another 2 or 3 years of penalties.

He'll do the same at USE. He'll screw them like he did at UT.

Arena Football League is a little above his skillset, don't you think?

He may be but he has accurately described Kiffen's legacy in Knoxville. You will soon feel the same way in LA.
