08:34 AM ET 08.22 | Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth is upset once again. This time it's over the lack of information Mike Shanahan provided about his injuries this week, prompting him to say he's still being targeted because he skipped the offseason workouts -- which he said he'll do again next spring as well.

He's a bum and a cry baby.

Apparently, Fat Albert just doesn't get it. If you work out in the offseason and get in good shape, show up to camp on time, practice hard; the coach will treat you with respect and you'll have a successful season. Act like a dou**, and you'll get treated like one.

<gasp> I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'd rather have a Frett Bavre story than something about this lazy oxygen thief.

Duh, ya think!

August 22, 2010  08:39 AM ET

Argh! I can't stand this guy!

August 22, 2010  08:46 AM ET

This is just a pi##ing match between the HC and the player. When the games start for real, he will be out there when it matters. Even if he never passes that conditioning test.

Joe you did something..

Albert is a diva with no peer. Cut his **** and blacklist him. His money will be gone in a few years and then we can listen to him whine that the guys under the bridge won't show him any respect....

I did indeed. I have been told that I bear a striking resemblance to the Martin Short character Ed Grimley. So. . . .

As much as I would love to see Albert penniless and living in a van down by the river, I don't think you can ever create a solid, 100% effective blacklist. Someone else will always be willing to give him a chance, unfortunately.

You forgot to include the phrase "I must say" as in, "I have been told that I bear a striking resemblance to the Martin Short character Ed Grimley, I must say". :-)

You're right! Damn! I think I'll go take out my frustration by playing a little music. Anybody want to accompany me as I play the triangle?

In Fat Albert's defense... he won't be the only one missing team workouts next offseason.

Agree with you Stuart but one can only hope....

I would love to see him running to make a tackle and get blind-sided by some extremely aggressive fullback. Not an injury, but perhaps a lesson in humility.

He wants to be paid and respected like a team leader, but somewhere along the way Albert failed to understand there's a lot of hard work that's expected has to go along with that.

You know, it's unfortunate that LaGarrett Blount can't jack this guy in the face.

Nice rhyme. How about a haiku about Albert.

Albert is so fat.
He eats like no tomorrow.
He never plays hard.

Now I know why they call a head coach a head coach, to get in miserable people's heads and make them stew a bit in their own mental misery... poor, poor Albert... can't get out of his own head...
