Busch, Keselowski feud heats up under the Bristol lights

06:34 AM ET 08.23 | It didn't take long for tensions to heat up between Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski as the two battled at Bristol. Starting in Friday night's Nationwide race, the two raced each other hard, with Busch ultimately being sent into the wall and quickly retaliating by spinning Keselowski out. The feud carried over into the uncensored, pre-race introductions at Bristol's Cup race, where Busch sarcastically thanked the crowd of booing fans, while Keselowski retorted by saying "Kyle Busch is an a**." Though the battle for the Chase hasn't had the sort of excitement NASCAR was hoping for this year, the Busch-Keselowski feud could provide the sort of drama the series is looking for -- and desperately needs.

Sounds awesome to me...
Keselowski will wait until after the Chase starts for his revenge, same with Logano to Harvick. The best revenge is taking away somebody's chance at the championship.
As for driver introductions, loved Allmendinger's comment.

Personally, I was much more upset at Kyle for spinning out Jennifer Jo Cobb in the Truck Race than when he did it to Brad K. Though it wasn't really called for (as Kyle cased the first contact anyway) Brad K has just flatly brought it on himself with some of his prior stunt. I've got to believe most of the drivers have had enough of the Brad K's BS. Carl Edwards also fits in that category, although Carl is a more judicious about moving people (except Brad K that is). I think Kyle was also sending a message to everybody as it is getting close to the races that will determine a champion. But that could be a two edged sword because most of the top 12 would do it to Kyle if he even came close to trying it with them.

What would keselowski and logano be getting revenge about? Keselowski to edwards. Ok I can see that, but not the other 2 incidents. Hard racing... If they did do that in the chase, they would always be remembered as pu---s

I can see Keselowski not getting revenge on Busch, but why not Logano to Harvick? Harvick has wiped him out twice this season (Nationwide race at Bristol and Cup race at Pocono). Not to mention how many times Biffle has hit him. Everybody seems to hate Logano right now anyway, he might as well play it up. His dad needs to stay away though.

ya know, Kezlowski made that pre race comment, then had a few chances to dump the Busch, and did nothing...any of you guys remember not too far back when Bristol was thrilling, with the racing, the spins, the paybacks, etc? this new car has taken most of that away..who ever thought we would see green flag pit stops at Bristol?
this past race at Bristol did nothing for me....the lone wreck worth a crap was when JPM dumped the 48, which im sure not too many of us were upset about...

im not in the Logano hater club, at least just not yet...im seeing him as a kid with a ton of potential who had to be forced into cup racing a year or two early cuz of Stewart leaving for Stewart-Haas...Logano is learning by the seat of his pants, and hes making some booboos..i saw the video of Ryan Newman getting lippy with Logano..my thoughts on that-hey Newman, go pick on someone your own size!
that might be kinda tuff, Newman picking on someone his own size, last i checked, pizza the hutt wasnt racing in the cup series, and neither was John Candy..

Keslowski is right. The only thing I would change about his comment is preface *%# with the word "arrogant."

He's referring to Keselowski, who has pretty much done nothing this season. On the other hand Logano actually does have nine Top 10 finishes... Not worthy of his hype, but better than last season.

I agree that Logano was thrown to the sharks way too soon. Joe Gibbs even said they didn't want to have Logano start driving in Cup until this season, but with Stewart leaving it sort of forced their hand.
On the other hand, has anyone seen the ridiculous stat that Logano has finished in the Top 10 in like 78% of his Nationwide Series starts? I know he's got really good JGR equipment, but that's still pretty insane.

Admit it, you were all paying very close attention when Kyle was lapping Brad Saturday night. There was some drama there, this sport needs a lot more like it. The days of Rouch and his Gong Show need to end, teaching drivers how to celebrate a win is just stupid. Enough with being such a shill for the sponsors, like wearing a cap and firesuit plastered with logos from their sponsors is not enough exposure they need to thank them every chance they get, they are starting to act robotic, they all say the same thing the same way. I cannot see how this going around in circles for 4 hours can survive without some personality/drama thrown in. The political correctness is boring up the races, let the drivers fight it out and to hell with the sponsors, they are pretty much jumping ship anyway. Bud is only signing on for 20 races next year, what's up with that.
