Forcier: 'I've matured'

08:57 AM ET 08.23 | Attributing some of his public missteps to immaturity, Tate Forcier came off "contrite" during Michigan's media day. "I got a big head," Forcier conceded. ... It shouldn't stun anyone that Forcier, outrageously considered an outside Heisman Trophy candidate following Michigan's 4-0 start a year ago, currently ranks third in Michigan's QB race. He admitted that he coasted through the offseason, committing though not fully committed. It's difficult regaining such lost trust, especially in a potentially decisive season with so little room for error and further conflict.

At least he can tie his shoes... I think that gets him more first string snaps...

Maybe the coaches should have required some extra practices to get him in line....

Oh wait.

Never mind.

That would suck, losing out to a guy who can't tie his shoes.

Wow, hows that make ya'll feel about the coming football year Michigan fans, your starting QB cares but not really.
Even though they're a Big East school, UCONN is a pretty good team, huh river, doesn't look for Big Blue already.

The trick is to not even read the article. Just make fun of the picture or comment on other poster's comments. The contents of the actual article is usually forgotten by the second page anyway.

Does nobody here remember what his own senior teammate (Wolfork) said about Tate as the Big Ten Media days? Here, let me help:

"I personally have a lack of respect for them," Woolfolk said of players who don't participate in the voluntary (summer)workouts. "The outlook on them is kind of diseased. Like you don't want to be hanging around those people because they have bad work ethic. But at the same time, it's my role to try to persuade them to come out more"

"The only reason he's not really labeled as diseased is because of the way he was able to carry the team last year before we started losing. People still trust him a little bit, but he's starting to lose that trust."

"Denard has been out there through the thick and thin and been out there all the time regardless if he's hurting," Woolfolk said. "And Tate, he tries to come out, but he's not as consistent as Denard is. And that's allowed Denard to jump a little bit ahead of Tate and I think that Tate's going to have to do a lot of work to catch back up to Denard in camp this year."

So yeah. . . don't believe the words. Believe the actions. . .as he transfers as soon as he's denied a start. . .THAT is the Forcier way. Read about it here:

Sound like Little Man Tate doesn't know whether to sh** or go to cash sales. Actually, it sounds like his dad took him to the woodshed for the transferring rumors.
